Educational Design ResearchEducational design research refers to educational programs, teaching - learning procedures, and systematic research on the design, development, and evaluation of educational products. This systematic approach fosters new insights for better understanding of teaching-learning and optimization of teaching-learning prescriptions. However, the researchers face methodological difficulties because these studies are conducted in actual classrooms and school sites with diversity and complexity. As a result, it may be difficult to maintain scientific fidelity in conducting research. This book provides a clear understanding and solution to these problems faced by educational design research.I have written this book for a rapidly growing educational researcher, who places an emphasis on the practical application of research. This book is made up of four main parts and provides supplementary materials through related websites. Third, we will introduce the view for quality assurance of research. Fourth, the implications of design research on educational policy are discussed in terms of understanding and evaluation of design research results.
