I live in Texas with my husband, daughter, and three Labrador retrievers. By day you can find me at my 'day job' buried under a pile of paperwork but at night I am at my computer creating new worlds!

I have always loved the paranormal. Shape-shifters, witches, and vampires have been my number one choice of reading material so when I strated to write it was the genre I chose.

I currently have several books released through Totally Bound. I have one long running series the Were Chronicles and in March 2014 a spin-off series the Shifter Chronicles will be revealed.

I also have several stand alone novellas and novels.

I am working hard to bring more stories to the readers so they can sit back and relax while losing themselves in the paranormal romance world.

Book four in the Were Chronicles Series

The Rogue meets the Alpha...and their worlds explode.

Rogue Kiley Palmer doesn't have a pack. Although deep down, she does want to be part of one, she tries to convince herself she doesn't need pack life. But that all changes when she meets her new mate...an Alpha.

Austin Winters is visiting a friend when he runs into the one person he never thought he would find-his mate. Convincing Kiley she wants him? Not nearly as difficult as getting her to accept her position in his pack...

kiley knew the minute she walked through the door with gray to go see tyler that her life will never be the same again.her mate is there.she can feel it.and so can the alpha austin.
turns out annonomous calls are being called to alpha leaders, and jesse is being blamed for them.kiley loves jesse, shes like a baby sister that kiley never had, and tyler wants kiley to watch over jesse and makes sure she stays out of trouble.
kiley and austin know they were bounded by fate, and they can't deny their attraction to each other, later on kiley and austin end up mating to each other by biting each other.
Later on a Dark SUV drove up to austin and tried to kill him by running over him.lucklily austin saw the car coming and jumped out of the way with kiley.austin smelled a shifter in the SUV,so he knows that whoever wants him dead is most likely a shifter.and that shifter tried to also kill gray and tony.gray only got a few injurys, but tony wasn't so lucky...he got a bullet in the chest and leg, and gray stopped the bleeding and both gray and tony would heal soon.
austin release his seeds into kileyy.
kiley found fresh footprints of both human feets and were's paws right outside of tyler's territory.people have been watching everyone and tyler's place...not good.
autin takes kiley to his territory/pack.colt and cain finds a person that was stalking them near tyler's place and so they catch him and turns out he's a feline shifter(these types of shifters don't usually have a pack, they're wild and dangerous).
tony talks to the prince of feline shifters, and he agreed to meet with tony and other alpha males to talk about the threats and all being sent to the alpha males. And the shifter that cain and colt caught said that "prepare for war".
turns out they never had their meeting with the prince, because the prince had been kidnapped.and austin and kiley and ginger are going to go with the other search party people to search for the prince.

I liked the book except for 2 points - One was the fact that the heroine was found to be in a locked room and apparently was mistreated by the former Alpha. There was incomplete info regarding that period of her life which lead to her standing on the boundaries of the pack living. I had no idea why she was in the line of employment she was in and why no one explained to her mate the issues that she had that then I would understand her. He was the typical Alpha who tried to be a good mate who could of used help in understanding his mate. The other issue is the book did not have an ending. This is not the way the other books went and it was disappointing to wait for the book only to have it written not up to the level of how the author has in the past. I hope either she can get this series back on track or end it.

Another enjoyable book in this series.

I loved Austin! His longing for a mate, his need for Kiley as soon as he sees her, his desire for her to want him as he wants her... I just loved him. He was protective and tender.

I did like Kiley but I wouldn't exactly call her a rogue wolf. I would have liked if the author wrote a book about a rogue wolf who really is rogue and not tied to any pack whatsoever because although Kiley lives alone, she still has ties within the Pack.

I did like that there was a bit of unsolved mystery in this one and that the plot will follow on through to the next book.

I wonder if Ginger will get a book because I'd really like her to find her mate. But I'm looking forward to Gray's book next up.

I knew eventually it would happen. I finally read a book by Crissy Smith that didn't completely wow me. I'm not saying Pack Rogue was bad. It had its good points. It just had some other not too great moments that left me with a meh feeling. Now in case you are curious, I read the re-edited version so it's supposed to be longer and better fleshed out. Ummm....

Let's start with Kiley. She is a rogue from the former local pack. The previous Alpha was abusive to her, kept her chained up in a basement, and she suffered terribly. Why? Not quite sure other than the previous Alpha was a piece of work but why her wasn't clearly explained. Now she lives nearby, interacts with the current pack, but refuses to join. Next is Austin, a best friend to the Alpha of the pack Kiley hangs with. He comes out for a visit, spots Kiley, remembers her as the one-night stand that got away. He's been harboring feelings for her all this time and now that he's found her, he's not letting go. Running in the background of their story, actually, the whole series so far, is shifters finally deciding to come out to humans to show they exist.

I was left with a lot of questions and no answers to go with them. Why was Kiley singled out and locked in the basement? Did she honestly believe she could interact with a pack and not somehow be connected to them? How did she get into her line of work? I know some of these are just fluff for the story but not knowing made it feel incomplete. Austin's portion of the story worked out well (despite the whole she left me one-night stand business) and helped balance out the incompleteness I felt. The whole Prince of the felines aspect I found interesting and then....The End.

Huh? What? Everything ended so abruptly. I mean I'm guessing Kiley and Austin got their HEA, however, the book ended so suddenly it was hard to tell. Again, I am left with more question that I'm assuming will be answered in the future. As cliffhangers go, it wasn't a great one. Yes, I can see it is set up for the series line to continue but as for Kiley and Austin ending, shrugging shoulders here.

I received this book from the JeepDiva for the express purposes of an honest review. The opinions and rating of this review are solely mine.

series book revolving around wolf shapeshifters finding their mates.

Each of these books has had that feel good quality to them with a mild degree of adult content erotic romance. I'm enjoying the series and each of the couples but wish there would be a little more development in the plot and story line development.

One of my major concerns in this book is that their is no follow through and flow going on. A spoiler free example is at the beginning of the story Kiley, who works as a PI, is actually on the last stages of an ongoing investigation for a wealthy client. At no time is it ever addressed that she completed her assignment and/or report to her client. For a person who takes pride in her accomplishments and reputation I wondered why this didn't have closure. Again. I don't do spoilers so there are other concerns for me but can't go into them because of that.

Overall though a good series. The erotic content continues to be steamy but not to the degree where you'd need to bring out the fan or take a cold shower.

The last book in this series I didn't think was as good as all of the rest of them have been and I was a little disappointed, but this book was right back up there with the first book which is still my fave. I loved Austin and Kiley. I actually think this one would make a really really good novel. There could have been so much more depth to this story. However, it was also good as it was, not too rushed and with a HEA. This has been a really good short story series. Sorta expensive for only about 60-80 pages, but I can't seem to let that get in the way because they fit in between longer reads so well, and actually have me hooked.

I'm not sure that it had an end. The story ended in the middle of it without giving any answers about what will happen next. But despite this I liked this story.

This series is all just cheap porn, and not well written. But they were entertaining enough that I read them. I'm a sucker for werewolf lit, even when it's cliched porn.

Kiley Palmer has been working hard at getting her life on track. After suffering years of abuse at the hands of her Alpha she is glad to be out of the pack and living by her own rules. She still talks to the new Alpha and visits but she no longer has ties there. When she is called to pack lands for a job, she meets her mate Austin, a visiting Alpha. Still traumatized from her past she has to decide if she will accept Austin as her mate or deny them both.

I enjoyed Austin and Kiley together. They make a good couple. When Kiley needs it, she knows that Austin is there to help her and she doesn’t have to put up a brave face for him. He will accept her as she is. And Kiley supports Austin in his role as an Alpha. Giving advise or just being a sounding board for him. They have great chemistry from the start and compliment each other.

My main nit pick in this story is we don’t get hardly any details about what Kiley went through with the deceased alpha. We know she was abused and locked away but that is it. She never goes into detail about even with Austin. I would have liked to know more about what happened. Also, what happened to the alpha’s son she was supposed to mate?

Also, the mating in this book was handled differently than the others. They knew immediately that they were mates by scent when usually the couples were just attracted to one another. They use the term true mates but I don’t know the difference between that and the regular mates. I would have liked that to have been explained better. If you start out mating couples one way then I would think it would stay that way for the whole series. Or at least explain why it changed.

This is the fourth book in the Were Chronicles series and is best read in order. This one can be read as a stand alone since it has new characters that haven’t been mentioned before. There is a continuing story arc through the series but you wouldn’t be too lost if you started here.

Pack Rogue is the fourth book in the Were Chronicles series, and we meet Kiley, who was held prisoner by Riker, and Austin, an Alpha visiting his friend. Although it isn't exactly clear what happened, you do know that something happened whilst Riker held Kiley which wasn't very pleasant! This has affected the way that Kiley feels and thinks about both the Pack and the land she used to call home. Austin never expected to see Kiley again, not after she disappeared following their one night together, and he certainly wasn't expecting her to show up at Tyler's home. However, he will take what he can and goes out of his way to show Kiley that he can be just the wolf she needs.

This was very well written, with no editing or grammatical errors to disrupt the reading flow. The pace was smooth, and the plot went along quite smoothly. If I had anything specific to say, it would be that because you don't know exactly what happened to Kiley, apart from it being one of the most heinous crimes that Riker got charged with, her reactions don't always make sense. However, that being said, this was still an enjoyable book that kept my attention from start to finish. Definitely recommended by me.

* A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book, and my comments here are my honest opinion. *

Rogue Wolf is Kiley Palmer and Austin Winters story. Kiley is a rogue wolf who lives on the edge of a pack territory who gave the opportunity to be free following harrowing years of being locked up by a previous Alpha. This gives Kiley real Alpha and trust issues and when she is brought back to her pack for her protection, she walks in to discover her mate is in the room. Not only a mate but an Alpha who will do anything to protect her and be with her.

Austin never dreamed that he would ever find his mate, he always wished but never thought it would happen. The bond is really strong and within hours of meeting his mate he would do anything to protect her and being away from her is unbearable.

This short story brings more than just Kiley and Austin together. As packs are considering ‘outing’ themselves as shifters to the human race there are dangerous threats that are looking to hurt any shifter that reveals the truth. The packs collaborate to try and find out who is causing these dangers and Austin and Kiley find themselves in the middle of it.

Just like the previous books, Rogue Wolf has plenty of erotic scenes, action and humour for a very short book. This one does end with a build up to a potential fifth book or even spin off series as feline shifters are introduced. Just have to wait and see if Ms. Smith is going to continue this fun sexy series or not.

I typically jump all over the chance to read short romance stories (online 'cause it's quicker) and this one did start out nicely....but towards the end I found it rather cheesy. My problem with a lot of the romance novels out there is that the plot tends to go down hill as soon as the two main characters have sex for the first time...I don't know what it is but I've read more novels that I'd care to mention in this genre that completely loose their quality and overall magic after that climatic moment when the hero and heroine have a tumble in the sheets. Maybe the plots of these novels weren't very strong to begin with so the authors begin relying on sexual draw to hold their readers interest? Well this novel failed to hold mine and I found myself struggling to finish.
'Pack Rogue' is a perfectly adequate mini novel, though I felt Kiley 'fell in love' with Austin far too quickly to be believable (a week with this guy and she's completely smitten? All they do is have sex and laugh... How can she be in love when she doesn't really know him??? Even with all that supposed 'mate' stuff I just don't feel the true connection between them that goes deeper than sex). If you're in the mood for a short, sickeningly sweet romance with a lot of sex that is not terribly descriptive or moving 'Pack Rogue' is a good choice for you.

Another good read in the Were Chronicles series by Crissy Smith is “Pack Rogue”. I liked the previous three more but this one wasn’t bad. I just think that there are some blanks in the story. Nevertheless, I enjoy reading it!

Kiley is a werewolf without a pack. She’s rogue but she wants to belong somewhere. Of course, she doesn’t admit it but she needs someone to trust, to be with. She was abused by her former Alpha, but the author doesn’t explain much for this period of her life, so that’s one of the blanks I mention before that I didn’t like. She is a kind person, great with kids and stubborn. She has some trust issues but with her mate she succeeds to relax. Another thing that I didn’t like is that she accepts very quick her fate. For a woman who has been abused, I found it hard to believe!

Austin is an Alpha werewolf. He wants Kiley from the beginning and he realizes that she had a bad past. He doesn’t learn many details for her past and that’s another thing that I didn’t believe. He wasn’t curious at all? He is strong and overprotective but I think that he’s not like the alphas in the previous books. He doesn’t push her much and he’s more easy to talk.

I enjoy reading the story and I’m curious if there will be another novella in this series in the near future!

I really like this series, it has a great feel. The only thing is that I always wish for more. That is the way when you are enjoying a story.

Kiley is a great character, I really liked her strength and attitude. I did think her back-story was skimmed over and that was disappointing. I loved that even though she was scared from her past she did not back away from Austin. She might have wanted to but she found a way to step up and express her fears along the way.

Austin is a delicious Alpha male, who happens to be smart enough to know hen to push his mate. He had the whole struggle to claim his mate but be patient with her at the same time. Sigh, I love a guy like that!

The steam was yummy but there could have been more. Their first smexy scene was all sorts of hot and heavy!! Fan Face!!

The story is really interesting, the on going arc is getting more involved and I am wager to see what comes next. I love the writing style and mix narrative. You always get a fuller story when you have both main characters POV.

I am definitely a fan of this author, she has great concepts and the stories get better with each new book.

A continuation of the Were Chronicles and brings back several characters that were first encountered in the other three stories. My biggest complaint: Chrissy Smith is such a darn good writer and I love all her writing but she is stuck in these novellas. Break out, girl. Give us a meaty, full-length novel that can really showcase your writing. Once again also highlights the plight of the "rogue" wolf-shifter who has a loose relationship with the area's pack but who has been abused by a former Alpha and is hampered from moving toward wholeness and a healthy mate relationship because of those experiences. Very good read but once again, just way too short.

This has been my least favorite book of the series so far. I just did not like Kiley's character at all. I just didn't like any aspect of her personality. I also wasn't really comfortable with her weird relationship and goodbye with Gray. It was just strange and I didn't really feel like a mated woman should be doing what she was doing when saying goodbye to him. Finally, I've noticed as the series goes on there is less and less of a description of the characters in each book. I would prefer to have more so that I actually know what these people are supposed to look like. Having nothing to go on makes it rather difficult to picture.

I loved the H/H chemistry in this one. I really like this story a lot, better than the first and third in the series, but I felt it was unfinished. I got to the end and had a...dafuq? moment. I could not believe the author would dare to stop the story there without finishing the mystery side of it. Who was after them? Who kidnapped the Prince? Even if there is going to be a fifth book eventually (and I hope so for my own sanity), it is inexcusable to give readers a half-assed suspense story and leave us without any answers.

I enjoy this series overall, but this one just seemed to skip around and miss on a few points. Kiley is a wimpy werewolf and just like her I don't see what her Alpha mate saw in her either.

And that ending was pretty awful. The HEA is presumed but it was just so abrupt.

Definitely not one of CS's better efforts. Still I'll keep reading hoping for a better flow to the overarching story, and better romances.

Not a bad installment. I wish it were longer and the sex scenes not so identical. But having said that, the story is not half bad, the characters endearing and there is enough here to be an enjoyable little read.
