Initial D 30 b Life and Passion of Amateur Drivers Initial D! b The father of Takumi, now president of Tofu Factory, who was a Speed Light when he was a young man, (Called "86" in the comic book called AE86) gives his son Takumi a tofu delivery that must cross the mountain every morning at Akina (slope corner is dangerous in Japan). Takumi, who has been driving acrobatics since he was a child, becomes a master of racing. The detailed description of the car mechanism, the speedy race scene, the romance of the friendship between men, and the elements of fun are all included in the speed drama!
Shuichi Shigeno (Japanese author profile: しげの秀一) is a manga artist, best known for the manga series Initial D. Shigeno has also created Bari Bari Densetsu, Dopkan, and Tunnel Nuketara Sky Blue ("First Love in Summer") all prior to the manga that would make him famous in 1995. In 1985, he received the Kodansha Manga Award in shōnen for Bari Bari Densetsu.
Fluke win, worst win in the series. Wasted the previous volume with them racing back and forth to leave out the end of the race just for the guy losing cause he wanted to vomit was fucking stupid.

Jumping ahead to volume 30, Shigeno seems to be hitting something of a rut - just one race stretched out over the entire book, somewhat repetitive driving philosophical talk from other books, and no side stories or town texture, except for an extra story at the end, elements which provided much needed depth in precious chapters. Obviously, if you can get your hands on any Initial D cheaply you should do it, but this story seems to be struggling to get into gear in year 3 of the US run.
a teen, tak is in the world of street racing and is battling shojima as the days go by k.t.meets a girl at a gas station and can possibly ask her out again. a text to text connection is to initial D vol.31 where tak is still to prepare for the race against shojima and k.t. is still wondering he could ask out the young girl he picked up from the gas station. i would rate this book 4 out of 5 stars because books not so specific after all it is a graphic novel and the seems to keep concluding.
