Henry Arthur Pluckrose was the founder, in 1968, of Prior Weston primary school in London. He established a teaching model that aroused international interest and admiration. He was also a prolific author, editor, journalist and lecturer on educational and other subjects.
He published more than 300 books and touched the hearts and minds of thousands, perhaps millions.
Changing the Seasons by Henry Pluckrose is a great book to teach young students about the seasons. It gives students factual information about the seasons and different characteristics about each season. I would use this book during the Explain portion of a science unit on seasons. This book would be great for students in K-2nd grade.
