An amazing book that informs and warns you about the reality of poaching and how brutal it can be. There were some really heartbreaking scenes in this one 😢 🐘
Hunted is a book about 5 teenagers called Alex, Li, Paulo, Hex and Amber. They enter a race in Zambia and along the way they save a girl called Tessa from dying in a poachers hole surrounded by lions because she fell in it in the dark. After the race they stay with Tessa's parents who own a lodge in a national park. They then find out poachers are killing all their elephants so they try to stop the poachers but they are fierce and armed.
My favourite part of the book was near the end when they set up a plan to stop the poachers and it works. They filmed the poachers selling the elephant tusks to a Chinese man and then the Chinese man flew in a small plane to a nearby airport so they called the police to catch him when he lands. This book is very exciting and has lots of action and also lots of sad stories about elephants dying. I would recommend this book to people who like action, adventure and animals.

Contains Chris Ryan's top SAS tips for survival around wild animals
This time Alpha Force is set in Zambia trying to fend off poachers on their ivory hunt. The plot is gripping as well as a bit gruelling, as there is more violence pictured than in previous books by Chris Ryan. Still it is well-written and definitely suspenseful! The way the wild-life is described is accurate and enchanting at the same time and you get to know a lot about all kinds of animals having their natural habitat in Africa.
Really a great book by Chris Ryan. The detail into which is put in of animals and survival tactics, couldn't be learnt by any Tom, Dick or Harry. Thanks for this great book, Chris Ryan!!
