History of lighthouses along the East Coast of North America. Assembled like a coffee table book and written with interest rather than dry facts. Lots of pictures but abbreviated information as such a plethora of lighthouses covered didn't leave much room for in depth coverage without being hundreds of pages long.
One of the most interesting parts of this book is the coverage of Canadian lighthouses and the differences between the US and Canadian lighthouse services.
