The year 2011 will mark the tenth anniversary of the terror attacks of September 11, 2001, those historychanging events that have come to be known simply as 9/11. In The Terror Conspiracy Revisited , the world's leading conspiracy writer updates his authoritative dissection of the official story of 9/11. This revised edition is packed with explosive new material including: The revelations of former New Jersey attorney General John Farmer, who served as Senior Counsel to the 9/11 Commission: "At some level of the government, at some point in time. . .there was an agreement not to tell the truth about what happened." What is the truth? It is quite simply that the truth has not yet been presented to the American public. Jim Marrs busts wide open whatever credibility the US government's version of 9/11 ever had and leaves the reader with some unsavory but indisputable conclusions.
Jim Marrs is an award-winning journalist and author. After graduating from the University of North Texas with a degree in journalism, Marrs worked for and owned several Texas newspapers before becoming an independent journalist/author. Marrs is the author of the New York Times bestsellers, Crossfire: The Plot That Killed Kennedy, the basis for the Oliver Stone film JFK, and Rule by Secrecy.
Rip Jim Marrs. A recent article in the Washington Post had the headline that half of Americans believe 911 conspiracy theories. That is a lot of people. Not to mention the rest of the world, be interesting to know the figures. Whatever one believes there is a truth that something does not sit right with the official story with a lot of people. The questions do seem to out way the answers. Jim Marrs raises those questions.
False Flags! Terror! 911 and 322

The pawns, the scapegoats, the patsy, the Lie
All recorded as official history, a big fat lie!

To bring in The Patriot Act, closing in on Humanity
Off limits, the Truth, it is plain to see
Propaganda and Rhetoric, spewing from the TV
The black mirror, the screen, the shield, the Veil
Bringing onto this beautiful Earth, orchestrated Hell!
The chaos, the War, the Hate, and the Control
Forced laws, acts, statutes, counteracting the Bill OF Rights, entrapping All
11:11:11, 7:7:7, 8:8, Gematria and 33 degree

We are characters, as Shakespeare once said
All obeying, following the Rules, overseen by the Serpent’s Head🐯👍
The official 9/11 story says that a group of Muslim fanatics, full of hatred for American freedom, hijacked four airplanes on the same day, and crashed them into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and a Pennsylvania field. Led by one person with a computer in a cave in Afghanistan, they were able to defeat America’s $400 billion defense system. Using mostly mainstream news sources, the author asks questions that no one else has asked.
US military war games took place the very hour of the 9/11 attacks. It is possible that they were designed to be so distracting that they may have contributed to the success of the real attacks. According to several experts, the destruction of the World Trade Center looked more like a controlled demolition than the result of terrorism. There is a huge difference between the temperature at which jet fuel burns, and that needed to melt reinforced steel. If planes really did bring the World Trade Center, where did those extra thousands of degrees come from? Firefighters who reached the affected floors reported a couple of small fires, but no steel-melting inferno.
The author also looks at the reasons for planning war in Afghanistan and Iraq, even before 9/11; namely, oil and drugs in Central Asia. He also looks at the connections between 9/11 and groups like Halliburton, Harken Energy and BCCI (Bank of Credit and Commerce International).
He also explores the backlash in America, including things like the Patriot Act, the ignoring of the Posse Comitatus Act, the building of internment camps and the creation of the Department of Homeland Security.
This book does an excellent job of shredding, once and for all, the "official" 9/11 story. It is a first-rate piece of journalism that is very much worth reading for all Americans.
If you believe the official 9-11 story, then you should read this book. Can you please tell me how WTC 7 fell down? (the fires were just so hot..ha ha..yeah right) I'm just glad the 9-11 commission did a great job investigating it. (yawn) The biggest crime scene in the world and this is what we got? Sure was convenient to invade Iraq and Afghanistan afterwards. Open your third eye.
Excellent place to start if you are looking for an alternative explanation to the official fantasy version of what happened.
Gathering information from mostly mainstream media sources and government reports, Jim Marrs superbly presents a slightly different picture than the accepted perception of that day's events.
If you find yourself looking for more thorough research beyond this, pick up Webster Tarpley's 9/11 Synthetic Terror.
Marrs is a professional conspiracy theorist who sometimes goes off the track, but 90 percent of the time he raises serious doubts about the official version of events; e.g., the attack on the Pentagon. It's disturbing stuff, much of which seems to deserve a response. (His remarks on the 911 Commission and its resemblance to the Warren Commission are chilling to read because they are not off the mark in several ways.)
I cannot accept this book, nor can I accept many of the claims of the 9/11 Truther Movement. I have deep sympathy for them, as it is imperative to always raise the questions that they have from such national tragedies as 9/11. Furthermore in many ways I myself identify with what would be considered "their crowd." I believe that the assassination of President Kennedy was a conspiracy likely planned out with some level of cooperation by this nation's intelligence agencies. I also believe that Reagan's election in 1980 was also facilitated by these same agencies. But back to the book at hand. I cannot believe many of Marrs' theories as some are simply absurd, and easily explained: the possible use of an atomic bomb to level the WTC, the discredited insider trading at the stock exchange, and so on. But what really turned me off to this main premise is that one has to accept that George W. Bush and John Ashcroft were capable of being somehow in the loop on it. Dick Cheney I can certainly see, but again Ashcroft's and Bush's foolproof compliance to a set of organized plans would have to be assured. Neither Bush nor Ashcroft mind you would be properly capable of guarding a spare set of keys to a gas station lavatory much less keeping mum regarding a false flag operation. I certainly believe that they exploited 9/11 for their own political ends, which is in itself a hideous crime, but I cannot believe that they created it.
Marrs is preaching to the choir here, folks, and I have to confess it: I am ALREADY a believer, and have been for quite a long time. For those of you who are not believers, approach this with an open mind, and you just might land on our side of the fence even if you didn't intend to. It's pretty convincing stuff. I thought I was pretty well informed already on the 911 conspiracy, but I am discovering things I did not know in this voluminous text on the subject. Americans especially should read this point by point, and realise what they have lost because of The Terror Conspiracy. Some of the same sorts of things are beginning to happen in Canada. Decisions affecting our sovereignty, military, and the ownership of our natural resources are being unilaterally made while we the public remain uninformed. Who is pulling the strings of OUR politicians? Reading this book should sound an alarm to all Americans and their Northern Neighbours.
I'm kind of pissed at this book. It's written very subjectively with no counter arguments or evidence. Much of the so-called evidence supporting the 9/11 conspiracy theory in this book seems circumstantial and "he said, she said."
Decent book. Seemed like Marrs really did his research. While Marrs is convincing about many things, though, I kept wondering how many of these assertions and scenarios are accurate. Certainly more then the official BS we've been fed from the beginning but at the same time a conspiracy this big seemed implausible. But I used past tense in that assessment as it appears to many the MAGGOT conspiracy at the heart of returning Trump to power feels much larger and more comprehensive than 9/11 something I never thought possible to say. Yet here we are as I write this in July 2024. A very good book, I strongly recommend it. 4.5 stars.
In talking to people and reading various sources (including an installment of the Oxford History of the United States), I am baffled at the attitude of the average person towards those who entertain conspiracy theories. Those who do are considered flighty, filled with fantastic ideas. I've even heard the psychological profile mentioned that they are people who can't accept a simple world and must make it a more dangerous place through their wild imaginations. With all due respect, this point of view is just plain stupid. Not all conspiracy theories are created equal, but take Oliver Stone's JFK film for an example (a film fueled by the research of this book's author Jim Marrs). The film, JFK, raised a great many questions about things that don't make sense or aren't close to probable with the version presented by the Warren Commission. It presents a theory that, while it may be false, at least supports its claims in facts and makes a lot more sense than what we're supposed to believe. And yet, how many people have called the film and any alternate theory of JFK's assassination as "irresponsible", or just rolled their eyes in amusement? The absolute worst and most primitive reaction is to dismiss people as "unpatriotic" because they are supposed to believe in their leaders and military with the same degree of faith as a child does in Santa Claus. My question is, where is your rebuttal? Where are your facts that contradict what was brought forth in a reasoned alternate theory? Eye rolling and dismissal is a simplistic and unscientific form of denial. If you want to believe an official report of something and call a conspiracy theory as nonsense, then explain why. If it's because it's just easier to trust your government and trust your media, then you are naive. I'm not saying that the media and government are always dishonest, but why should you take everything they say at face value with no questions asked?
I started this review with that tangent, because if your review of this book is negative simply because it questions all the official reports and proposes an alternate story that makes our government and military leaders look bad, then your opinion to me is unfounded. You have to take the claims offered in this book, and counter it with a source that shows this book to be a lie.
The 32 pages of footnotes/works cited alone convince me of this well-researched book, based on official documents, that the tragedies of 9/11 were not even close to being performed in the manner we were officially told and by the people we were told to be responsible. I'm not saying that the alternate theory is correct in every phase, though it may be, but the mountain of evidence refuting the "facts" such as the manner of how the World Trade Centers collapsed and how it would have been impossible from a mere airplane crash, to the list of dead hijackers with most of them still being confirmed alive years later, to everything that is fishy about the Pentagon attack including the size of the impact caused by the reported airliner that struck the building...is overwhelming. The author covers so many angles and from many sources. This is not a work of an out-of-control imagination, but a well reasoned treatise of why the official version has too many holes to be trusted.
My only complaint is that, while the book is well-researched, it is badly edited. There are a number of typos. For example Eglin AFB is twice spelled as Elgin. There's a sentence where it should be "America" mentioned, and it is "American" instead. There are plenty more grammatical and spelling errors. I realize this is basically a self-published book, but it would be more credible with better editing.
If this book has any truth to it, we are in trouble! Author contends that planted bombs brought down the World Trade Center and the conspiracy was our own government. Makes you stop and think a bit.....
A top-notch analysis of 9/11. If I were to suggest only one 9/11 book, this is the one I'd recommend. Jim Marrs' research, synthesis, and writing are superb. Marrs' writing style is so readable, even in a relatively large book like The Terror Conspiracy Revisited the pages fly by.

Pretty good alternative view of what happened on that day. There were a lot of boring or confusing hard to get through chapters but that was probably just me. Good conspiracy book!
He said, she said, supposedly, this magazine, this editor, that girl, that missing document, etc etc etc. I'm over it. I can't keep up with the web of details of this and that supposedly happened, but no one has any proof of any of it! Yeah I said it. Show me proof!!! And I don't mean what someone supposedly thinks, saw, or heard. I mean I want full fledged, hands down, green light, copy that 10-4, undeniable proof of half the concoctions written here in this book. So President Bush stayed in the classroom minutes after he was told about the attack. What was he supposed to do?!?! There were children surrounding him!!! What's he supposed to do, yell "Duck and cover!" in an elementary classroom?? And for some reason this means that he was behind the attacks?? My foot. I understand quite clearly what the word "Conspiracy" means. It means it's an idea that things are not as black and white as they appear, and there could very well be an underlining story, one that we as the general public don't want to hear about. One that's hard to believe. But all the "what if's" and "word on the street is" in this book having to do with everything BUT September 11th, is putting me to sleep. So therefore, this book is being put on the back burner.
Jim Marrs does a very deep dive into this work. He covers all the key phases surrounding the event; while pointing out inconsistencies to the official narrative. Especially important in the book are the Appendix and Conclusion section which is written by Barbara Honneger who is an expert on this event. Normally, I delete ebooks after I have read them. This one is a keeper and deserves a second read. Great work.
