My favorite character in “The Babysitting Wars” was Kaitlyn because how confidant she was to reclaim her title as the best babysitter in the neighborhood.

My favorite part was the end when Kaitlyn babysits for the Marshfield’s (the richest family in town) and gets locked in the pantry.

In the beginning I made a prediction that Nola (Kaitlyn’s competition) would be the best babysitter in the neighborhood, but you’ll have to read the book to find out if I’m correct.

While reading this book I felt hopeful that Kaitlyn would get her title back and her business.
The book reminded me of when I babysit my little sister when my parents aren’t home. It also reminds me of helping my best friend Tess babysit her two younger sisters.

The part I pictured in my head was when Kaitlyn took one of the kids she was babysitting to the park when he was crying and Nola came and distracted him with a blade of grass.

I liked the ending because it showed who the best babysitter was and how Nola helped Kaitlyn even though Kaitlyn didn’t even help her.

I was surprised when Nola showed up to help Kaitlyn at the Marshfield’s house.

I rated this book a 3 star because of it’s very detailed and easy to picture in your head. Plus I really like the plot in the story.

I recommend this book to others to show them how thing don’t always go your way. This book also shows how you need to be determined to get what you want.

In the neighborhood of Marshfield Lake, seventh-grader Kaitlyn Sweeney has a monopoly on babysitting. Good thing, too, since she's saving up for a trip to Wonder World with her two best friends, Liesel and Maggie. They've been planning and saving for it since fifth grade, but Kaitlyn worries that Liesel may not save all the money she needs in time.

So when someone offers her twice her regular fee to take a last minute job, Kaitlyn feels guilty, but compelled to lie to the parents who had already booked her for that night, saying that she's sick and can't come.

This is the first step in the Babysitting Wars. A new girl, Nola, moves in on Kaitlyn's turf, and everybody loves her. Suddenly, super-competitive Kaitlyn is getting no jobs at all, and she's determined to prove herself the best babysitter around. But what happens when her competition gets in the way of her friendship with Liesel and Maggie?

A quick, fun read, I adored the easy flow of the author's style, and felt disappointed that there is no series based on Kaitlyn and her friends. They're a riot!

In this book "The Babysitting Wars" my favorite character was Kaitlyn because she was so nice and sweet. My favorite part of the book was when Nola had to tie her shoe lace. Then her phone rang, and Kaitlyn took her phone secretly and it said from the Bailey's family, "Can you babysit tonight? "and Kaitlyn wrote" ok I will be there." Kaitlyn felt guilty, because she took Nola's phone but at the same time she wasn't. I would recommend this book 4th grade and up . I really liked this book so much because the story ended up in a good way and the were all happy.I would read it again if i could, I would give this book a 10/10.

I learned that when your friends want you to come over to their house when you have to babysit that night tell them that you can't because you have to babysit that night.

This book talks about how Kaitlyn used to be the top babysitter in Marshfield Lake...until Nola moves to town and starts stealing Kaitlyn's clients away. Kaitlyn starts to feel jealous and try to ruin Nola's reputation, until she finds out Nola was trying to do the same thing as well!
This book is a fun and interesting story suitable for all ages. It is very worth reading, and I am definitely recommending this book to my cousins Jessica and Joey.

It was an okay story. I read this as a kid and I was rooting for the main character, Kaitlyn the whole time even though she wasn't as good as Nola. She was kinda sabotaging her which is kind of understandable because she felt like Nola was taking everything from her including her babysitting jobs and her best friend but still.

(spoiler)

I liked that Nola wasn't actually being mean. I liked that Kaitlyn learned how much lying can get her in trouble. She lied to her parents, friends, and babysitting clients. I thought it was funny when the kids painted the dog.

The book Babysitting Wars by Mimi McCoy tells the story of a girl named Kaitlyn who is the top babysitter of her city until a new girl comes to town and starts to make herself the top babysitter. This book mainly takes place in a small city called Marshfield Lake at Kaitlyn´s house. The main characters are Kaitlyn and Nola, the two babysitters. Overall, I thought the book was a 4-star rating. The problems the characters encountered were who was going to be the top babysitter of Marshfield Lake. I would recommend this book to a girl between the ages of 10 and 13 because it is appropriate for tween or teen if they are girly. If I could change anything about this book it would be that instead of competing for the best babysitter, they could team up and have their own business.

There's four girls Kaitlyn, Liesel, and two more girls. Liesel was having a sleepover because her mom was going out with her friends. But Kaitlyn had to babysit people's kids. So they ate brownies and cakes but Kaitlyn stuffed a brownie in her mouth. But it was one of the friends other new friend Nola she was nice to everyone but Kaitlyn was mad because Nola stole her babysitting job. Then at the end of the story Amber came and Topher came up to Kaitlyn and they were all friends with each other.

I liked this book quite a bit. It was a very good and interesting book. I thought it was good for probably middle school girls. It is even better if you babysit because you can relate to it. See now I could relate to it so I liked it.

It is about this girl and she is the babysitter that everyone wants. Then out of no where this girl comes to town and takes over everything. See now everyone loves this new girl. So now she has to step up her game to not lose her position as neighborhood babysitter. Will she get it? Read to find out!

I loved this book from beggining to end!!! It was good because it got you interested at the start and you wouldn't want to put the book down (that was what happened to me, and i read it in two days) Most of the little kids that they were baby siting were so cute but then some of them were just little balls of trouble. Both girls could of been best friends from the start if they didn't let a little bit of baby siting get in the way. Over all it was a great book to read with lots of humor and it was one of the best books in the cand apple series!!!

I rated this book 4 stars because yes, it was very good, and had it's moments of funni-ness. The only thing that annoyed me about the character Katliyn was that she is obsessed with winning. She always wanted to beat Nola at babysitting, and was being really mean to her. She was jealous at how good Nola was with kids, and even though Katliyn was also good, she wasn't as good.
