The .hack//G.U. series comes to a fantastic conclusion in this final novel.

One of the strongest elements of this entry into the series is the fact that the lip service to various philosophies, mythologies, and religions are finally fully explored. With a heavy influence from Anthroposophy, Buddhism, and Nietzsche, themes of ontology and epistemology are explored and questions about the reality of "the self" that the .hack series has always alluded to are explored in a more satisfying way.

8-Dimensional Thoughts is a great and thought provoking conclusion to this chapter of .hack.
