This isn't a regular old book. Craig demonstrates a unique expertise that is, frankly, beyond my ability to fully absorb. This is an amazing resource for anyone pursuing a career in sound production and design - even if it is rapidly becoming outdated. It is dense with information. But more than that, learning about how technology progressed from stage to stage was fascinating.

If you have a large learning curve, this is a great book to read. But since it was written in 1978 a lot has happened since then :-)
