Hello to all the readers of my Natalie North murder mystery book series. A Passion for Prying is the first book of the series, however, each book can be read as a stand alone and make complete sense. What a fun read this was for me. Murder, mayhem and humor all through the story. Natalie is a gal who works at her fathers PI agency. Meaning she gets to follow cheating spouses, take pictures and then give the bad news to the significant other. She wants to do more involved PI work, and she gets her chance when there is an apparent murder suicide. She comes to realize that someone is out to get her after some bullets go flying in her direction. She has a variety of dysfunctional family and friends to contend with. Her parents are divorced and have been for four years but Natalie's father has a hard time letting go, so he tries to show his wife how much he cares, by becoming a bumbling stalker. There is her friend Cindy who has an assortment of get rich quick schemes that do not come to fruition, her DA boyfriend Darren whom she loves, Jett, an actor she went to high school with who she is attracted to, a crooked judge with a stripper girlfriend . This story is a fast paced laugh out loud, suspenseful kind of book that will grab you from the very first page and is hard to put down. This would make a great series!!
