R2-D2 must be brave in order to rescue his friend, C-3PO, from the evil bounty hunter, Cad Bane.

The text is simple for readers to understand while still capturing the action expected from a Star Wars adventure. Young readers will love the fact that the illustrations are scenes from the popular television series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

This is a great book to teach younger students the power of friendship. This also teaches younger students how important it is to listen to directions. I had never read any of the Star Wars books, or seen any of the movies. This book was cute.

This is way too "wordy" and the 8"x 8" format is on the small side for use in a story time setting.

Before story time I made an image of r2d2 and of c3po, mounted them to cardboard and pinched a cloths pin to the bottom of each to hold up as I told a story about them, very loosely inspired by this book:

Stupid beyond stupid. Ninety percent of the book was a digression.
