Dancing with a prince might sound like a dream come true for most girls, but for dance teacher Meredith Whitmore, it's simply a fabulous career break. Kiernan Chatam is nicknamed Prince Heartbreaker—and her heart's scarred enough already, thank you!
The streetwise dancer from the rough side of town and the arrogant, privileged royal start off stepping on each other's toes, but slowly Meredith uncovers the man behind the royal mask. She's in for a surprise, for she has never believed in happy endings, let alone one with a real prince!
Cara Colter was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, surrounded by ranches, but she was always a reluctant city girl. A journalism graduate, she has been making her living with words for her entire adult life. Before published her first romance novel in 1987, she wrote educational materials, newspaper stories, magazine articles and even sermons!
"I am living proof that dreams come true," Cara says. "I am an ordinary person leading an extraordinary life."
Now she lives on a small acreage in British Columbia. She shares her life with her personal hero, Rob, a cat and eight horses. She has three grown children, and already is a granmother.
Very good tale of 2 very different people with difficult histories with love. The dance scenes at the end were awkward to read but dancing is uncomfortable for me in the first place. I very much liked the characters, especially Meredith. Reading as they helped one other open up and face/accept the truth and their pasts was heartwarming. Loved the first Hot Springs scene. Glad it was not overly graphic, steamy or rushed romance and intimacy wise, but heartwarming, gut renching and full of valuable lessons. Was warry of Harlequin romance but this was fairly decent and bearable.

I thought this was a really sweet romance. I could totally see this being made into a movie! I felt the characters were pretty well-developed, and fitted the story perfectly. This would be a great book to read on a laid-back day when you are craving some light romance which can actually make you laugh. My favourite part was the Molly/Andy guise where their exchanges were hilarious!
I didn't expect much when it came to this book but I really did enjoy this. The ending is a little fast but I think its fine because the romance is sweet and pleasant to read.

Its a nice romance. Its sweet and romantic they slowly fall in love. I still think the ending is very quick
I liked this book. It had a range of emotions and was well enough written to bring me into the story. I also liked the dancing feelings, the 'real' characters that come out when the guards are down, and the Molly/Andy thing. I would read this book again, but more to pass the time. Enjoy
