The demon realm is rising . . . The Demon-King is coming . . . These are the last days of mortal kind. Weakened by internal division and recent struggles, the gods are no longer able to protect the mortal realm from either the enemies that exist within or the terrors that exist beyond. Demons begin to break through into the mortal realm and Saltar and his companions start a desperate battle to stem the tide. When Saltar is tragically poisoned, there are none left to prevent the Demon-King from leading his army into the mortal realm. So begins the rule of the Demon-King. Necromancer's Fall is A J Dalton's third work of metaphysical fantasy. It gives us a world of epic scale as a backdrop to the intrigues and magic of the darker side of the human psyche. It is told with a vividness normally only expected of film. The action and pace leave the reader breathless, exhilarated and hungry for more. "A stunning and relentless novel from first word to last line! I didn't want it to end". Paul Rhinebeck "An awesome scale of vision. Undoubtedly the best of British fantasy. Kate Sultrow
Hello there! I'm mainly preoccupied with the question 'If Darth Vader and Dracula were fighting each other, who would win?' When not pondering said question, I bend my mind to writing gothic fantasy. It keeps me off the streets, but often gets me into trouble.

Hey, I did my best. Oh shut up. It's big in Germany.
This book sees the series plots all being tied up and demons coming to invade the world which messes with the entire fabric of life. The normal chaos, violence, graphic demonic scenes and humor of the first two books are honored and expanded in this last installment.
This was an interesting end to an interesting trilogy. It is not the most engaging read, but the ideas were interesting and original.
The characters become less and less believable as the series goes on and that really did frustrate me in places. It seemed very out of character from where they were in the first book and I don't think characters maturing can account for all of it.
That being said there were some great ideas and horrific scenes in the book that will keep people engrossed and like I said the explanation of the whole three books was beautifully convoluted and complex.
