This another book that covers the side stories of the main storyline. However, most of the chapters here are far more serious that the first few books. And there's actually an chapter that covers the encounter between the key characters of the small mercenary team... And some of their forte and their character were covered in these book too.

I can't clearly remember if Fumoffu covered some chapters in this one. But I have vague memories of some scenes, so maybe?

Anyway, I like that we get backgrounds for Hayashimizu-senpai and Mao (and Kurz as well).

I think the 1st chapter (with the snails) is my least favorite chapter so far for the simple reason that I don't think Chidori would just get things that didn't belong to her. Add to that the unsatisfactory ending to that story.

Anyway, on to the next one.
