Great essays about great people by one of Ed Abbe's best friends and one who was with him at his death. Superb articles on Anna Sofaer [discovered the Sun Dagger at Chaco Canyon], John Nicols [Milagro], Ed and others.

Most of the stuff in this book I have read before although I enjoyed Abbey's interview immensely. Some of the essays were somewhat dated and a bit too Americanized...but...an interesting selection which will get me reading more by Abbey, Foreman and Snyder.
