This was the worst kids book I’ve ever read. Even my kid thought it didn’t make any sense. The writing was atrocious, and the images made the storytelling even worse.

Kids book***This series of books would be very interesting for those kids who have a hard time getting into fiction. They are fictional, but seem like informational books.

I actually read the Samurai and the Mummy time traveller books. Each one is an adventure story with 10-13 year olds who travel into the past. The illustrations are photographs. It is very nicely done. The kids in the book research the time they are going back to. They dress up in costume or make it from blankets they've sewn together. They have some sort of adventure and make it home in 48 pages. Government spies are hoping they'll bring something back(?) The spies say "time is running out" for something. Some of the other topics are: pirates, Arthur, dinosuars, etc.

If I could give this book more than five stars, I'd give it 5,000, not to mention that I really liked it. Oh! and there was this kid that looked just. like. me. And there was gold in that book.
