Published in the year 1998, the book narrates life journey of a decorated Indian pilot Capt. V Sundaram. One can find the birth of India's civil aviation including the establishment of first flying school in India by the author. Hailing from an era where the pilot husbanded an aircraft with less technical assistance, the author narrates the adventure filled flight of getting 'Hanuman' - an executive Dove aircraft from England to India for the government of Madras co-piloted by Mrs. Usha his wife. Glimpses of India's partition, accounts of piloting for national leaders, aircraft emergency handling, all find a place in this book. Simplistic language, supplemented with archived photographs add more authenticity to the book.
