I read the first two and a half sections of this book but then it was taken away from me by an airplane and the owner of the book who wanted to get on it.

I was interested in the EU as an experiment in global governance, the only way I see to deal with our increasingly global problems.

I didn't learn much about the EU in this respect though. The chapters I read were too bogged down in delineating treaties and institutions to deal with the more abstract philosophy of global governance.

I'll have to look elsewhere for my global governance fix.
