I would describe this book more as an Encyclopedia of all things Texas. "Everyone" knows that Texas has strong roots and strong opinions; therefore claiming all things Texas as tradition. Armadillos, bluebonnets, BBQ, LBJ, Rodeo, Alamo, Big Tex, etc.
