I was playing modded Minecraft and there's a modpack called gregtech, which TLDR, contains a fair amount of chemistry.

As for me, I didn't do a level chemistry, though I did do biology.

I was always curious about orbitals, crude oil... Plastic production, organic chemistry and so on. And I just thought, you know what, I will just read the entire syllabus.

Reading this to learn out of pure curiosity, I think it's pretty good. Assumptions of knowledge from GCSE carries over and so it wasn't hard for me to follow along. To test myself, I did some of the questions which I thought were for the most part pretty easy.

However, I can't say how good this textbook is for exams, so do not take my advice for that.

But as for fulfilling my curiosity, I think it did well. To be honest, I was expecting alot more in organic chemistry but I guess that adding alot more would explode a level students heads.

Now, I can understand and follow NileRed's videos ( if any of you know who that is).

I've been teaching the Cambridge International Examination A-Level certification for almost a year now, and wish I'd had this book as support material the day I started the course.

It's clearly laid out, accessible by English as second language learners (if handled correctly) and, most importantly, covers the entire syllabus in one handy volume (so you aren't going to end up rooting round in a bunch of different places to find the basic content).

In short, buy this book, you can't go far wrong with it if you're teaching the CIE A-Level Chemistry course.
