Rengarenk, resimli, fotoğraflı, süslü püslü güzel bir kitap. Hindistan'ın saklı hazinelerini yani kutsal metinleri, Tanrıları, yarı-Tanrıları, kutsal ineği, ayurvedayı, mantraları, tapınakları, festivalleri vs. anlatıyor ama asıl olarak International Society for Krishna Consciousness 'in (ISKCON) tanıtım kitabı olmuş, onun için dinler bölümünde özellikle kökeni kabul edilen Vaişnava'ya ve ISCON'a kadar uzanan bu yola mantrasından gurularına kadar özel bir yer veriyor.

The book refers to so many Indian scriptures and gives glimpse of them as well as Indian culture. This book is authentic and it will open eye of even Indians on what kind of knowledge Indian scriptures share.

This is a beautiful book to hold and flip through. Every page has pictures. The chapters are short and accessible. This is a book is about Bhakti Yoga, known as the Path of the Heart, or devotional acts of unconditional love.

This is a lovely, concise introduction into the ancient path, which is gaining quite of bit of attention within the Yoga community in the United States and Europe. There's an interesting short chapter about the possibility of Jesus having visited India since his teachings are so close to the ancient Bhakti path.

It's an absolutely delightful book with colored illustrations on each page which make it visibly appealing. Now what makes the book special is that in addition to the pretty pictures that adorn the book, it's rich in content as well. It's gives a precise, lucid and rich detailing of the Vedic religion with particular emphasis on the Vaishnava Philosophy. Definitely amongst the best books that I've had the good fortune of reading.

Definitely one of the best books I have on my shelf. It's crisp and clear explanations about the oldest religion on the planet and its various different systems of faith. I personally adore this book and highly recommend it to anyone! Whether he may be a neophyte or a master, this book is a delight to read. It really does bring out the hidden secrets India has in store.

As an Indian heavily into mythology, I did like the idea of the book, but it did try to push the personal slant of ISKON too much. Still, that does not detract from the comprehensive coverage, succinct coverage and coffee table like feel of the book, which is a good introduction to Krishna
