Ted is a good friend and his love for history comes across in this beautiful work. I recommend this to anyone that wants to know more about the early history of European exploration and settlement of the land west of the Allegheny Mountains

This is THE book about the long hunters. Not only is it jampacked with historical accounts and accurate information, but the author is a great guy who lives and breathe this history.
