It was fine, I guess. I think the main issue for me was that Chaireas is the actual worst and I was not rooting for him at any point (the second to last chapter was so random and uninteresting...). On the other side, Dionisos and Policharmos were much better (specially the latter), and I couldn't help but feel a little sad about Dio's ending.
Kallirroe is the best, actually. The power that that woman has is incredible, even if it is at the expense of the narrative getting super tiring towards the end with all the all-the-men-fall-in-love-with-her thing.
It was actually hilarious seeing all the Homeric references and quotes. When my friend Chariton didn't want to explain something he just quoted the Illiad and ran with it, he dgaf
