It’s play or be Played, and Taj will do whatever it takes to come out on top.
I read this book years ago in high-school, the beginning of this year my mind ran across it again but I couldn’t find it for the life of me ! I’m so glad that I did Taj is such an inspiration and they’re are many young women today faced with the obstacles and abuse she has endured !!! This book is an absolute page turner ! I learned about forgiveness, the importance of faith and staying true to yourself !
This book was a pretty interesting read. The main character, Taj, got into so many situations that at times it was a bit unbelievable. Her escapades definitely did add some substance to the book because I have never seen any situations like those. Taj had been living the street life for a long time, so it sucked seeing her not having a bit more street smarts. It seemed there could have been many times she could have thought her choices through and not ended up in those situations. I am glad she got herself together a bit at the end for sure. Overall, a good read and nice title for the book.
I’m assuming the book was about tan playing herself over and over again. I would have liked a better ending and more details into if the man did do something to her son or not?
The title fits the book exactly...I loved the character Taj and could definitely relate to some of the things that she went through...but throughout the entire book I felt like Taj brought most of the drama on herself...I kept screaming will you just get a JOB!!! I love a good ending to a story so I say Lisa Lennox definitely delivered once again...
The character in this book pissed me off, she kept putting herself in dumb situations. I didn't feel sorry for her at all, the ending was good though. It was an okay read for me.
this wa sinteresting to say at least. she was a female dog. she played men just like the play women. she did her thing. I enjoyed the story. lisa lennox is very talented and I like her books.
