New Again
Cole Manner, (yes his parents did hate him to give him a stupid name like that), has been on a quest to find his place in the world. Over the past few years he's traveled and worked whatever job he could find where ever the winds had taken him and for the most part he's enjoyed his new outlook on life.
Until one damp day he happens to see an advertisement for what sounds to be a very odd job and it makes him curious enough that he checks it out, just wanting to know what it was.
That stumbles him into a job like none he'd ever could have imagined and maybe, just maybe, will end his wanderlust and show him his place in the world... of course... his grumpy, troublesome, drop dead sexy new boss could have something to do with that too!

INCREDIBLE world building and intense character depth. The best S.A. Payne book I've read and that's saying something. I loved Heroes and Ghosts. She's magical. Fantastic Read

Well, I am not very happy. So I choose this story to read. I read the first chapter. It pulls me in JUST enough to make me interested and want to continue....
Then I can't. Nope. It said I needed to sign up(Free) so I did and I'd be able to continue. Great. Not so. I never got an confirmation. Then I attempt to go back to the website to redo it(sign up again) but now I get some funky page. So I guess I will never know now... what happens. Sad.
UPDATE: Finished... for now. Because it just ENDS, you find out a few things but a lot of stuff still needs to be answered. Hope I can find a continuation.... haven't looked into it yet. But having to wait FOREVER for it. It was looking grim... but finally they accepted me and I was able to go read past chapter 1.
It was a little disappointing. Maybe because I had months of waiting, letting the anticipation build up to WANTING it to be EPIC!!! It was pretty decent. Cole Manner is down on his luck and landed himself a new job. He isn't told much but he will be helping out Hue who is some important guy. As the story progresses you find out more about his job and who Hue and his 'friends' really are. I just wanted the chemistry to be build up more between the two of them. Then it just ends. Not tapers off to a ending, it ends abruptly. So if there isn't a continuation, I wouldn't even waste your time to read this.... because you will just end up feeling used...
Because it could turn out to be pretty awesome if it is continued and gives the author time to draw out more to build up between the two MC's it could have very good potential...

I find it really hard to like this as a whole, purely because that ending begs for more. It feels like a serial novella with the ending, and it's a good short piece. I want that next one, but right now, I have nothing, and I'm not getting any information on a future anything. ):
I felt very teased by the ending. I didn't get anything physical. I got some good characterization, like an intro.
