Total fluff and I'm sorry to say not in a good way. It had a lot of potential but the author went for saccharine instead of any attempt at reality. And the bad woman? The idea that any of the stuff that she said about taking the boys away from the heroine would have stood up in any sort of court of law was just ludicrous. Hmm...

What a sweet book, the heroine is one of those really postive people in life, who despite being unemployed and broke is hopeful and wants to find a strong prince to help protect her inheritance and she finds Jake, who looks all angry at life and is perfect for her, he needs her she thinks to get love in his life and save his inheritance.
The hero looks at her and wants her but he needs someone willing to accept a temporary marriage and not a dreamer but somehow he finds himself marrying her and then finds the shock of his life when she turns out to be a virgin and her inheritance, two nephews but still a deal is a deal and he takes her to Texas, installs her in his run-down ranch thinking she will run off screaming instead she loves the place and offers to clean it up and he finds his every negative turned into a positive, she bowls over the town people, defends him and keeps seeing the good in him and he can't resist her and gets angry at the thought of all the men in town wanting to be her husband.
He didn't stand a chance against her and I loved the book.

Yaa sen ne tatlı bir kitaptın öyle. Yazarın okuduğum ilk kitabı ama son olmayacak kesinlikle.Kurguya, karakterlere her şeyine bayıldım.

I thought the plot sounded very similar to Prince Charming so of course I had to dive right in.

En esta historia conocemos a Jake un texano malhumorado que necesita casarse para conservar la herencia que le ha dejado su abuelo, pero el busca una mujer sensata y que acepte un matrimonio temporal cuando en un baile de cenicienta se topa con Wynne, una chica que no tiene miedo al trabajo duro pero no deja de soñar con un príncipe fuerte y amor verdadero, aunque llegan a un acuerdo ella no puede evitar tener la esperanza de colarse en el corazón de Jake aunque el no lo quiera pero ella sabe que la necesita.
Sin duda una historia bastante dulce, aunque es predecible es bastante divertido acompañar a la pareja en su viaje ademas que el secreto de la herencia de ella le da un toque encantador a la historia, es muy cortito el libro para leerse en una sola tarde, sin duda te podría ayudar en un bloqueo lector y te sacara un par de sonrisas.

had to finish this one because I have read every other one in the series and I just realized each book starts off from a single night.
It's an interesting read though the sequels are much better. I am glad I didn't pick this up first because I won't have picked up the other ones.

Çok severek okuduğum bir roman oldu.Çok sevimli,duygusal,mizahi bakımdan güçlü bir hikaye idi..İki tarafa da miras kalmıştı ikisinin de acilen evlenmesi gerekiyordu..Winnie bu uğurda üç nişanlıdan ayrılmıştı.jack ise saygı duyduğu büyük babasından kalan çiftliği hak edebilmesi için evlenmesi ve özellikle de gerdeğe girmesi gerekiyordu..
Winnie ve jack değişik amaçlar için Sinderella Balosu'na gittiler..Winnie ne hikmaetse Jack'i görür görmez gözüne kastirdi Kack direndi önce istemedi ama o da ikna oldu..İkisi de evlenirken birbirlerinden bir şeyler sakladılar..Jack bir kaç şeyi hesaba katmamıştı Winnie'nin üç nişanlıdan ayrıldığı halde bakire olabilmesini ondan bu kadar etkilenmeyi vee ondan ayrıldığı anda onunla evlenmek isteyen bir oda dolusu adamı..İçlerinden bir tanesi de arkadaşı idi..

sebenarnya aku ingin kasih 3,5 tapi karena goodreads tidak mau memberi nilai tanggung dan setengah-setengah jadi terpkasa kuberhenti di bintang 3. ceritanya bagus dan lucu. aku suka dengan heroinenya yang romantis dengan impian a la cinderella. meskipun begitu ia seoprang yang optimis. ia menangani masalah dengan ceria seolah tanpa beban sehingga heronya mau gak mau harus memikirkan ulang untuk bercerai setelah masing-masing mendapatkan apa yang diinginkan dari perkawinan kontrak mereka.

Day seviyorum başlangıçta biraz tereddüt etsem de ilerledikçe sevdim kitabı. Sindirella balosu konseptli serinin sonraki kitaplarından birini daha okumuştum tersten okumuş oldum biraz okuduğum diğer kitaptaki Ella da görünüyordu bi sahnede onun anne babasıda tabii balo sahipleri olarak.
Neyse sonuç itibariyle güzeldi.

It was ok. i liked this book apart from the ending. i felt that it ended really abruptly and i was confused about what was going on. the last line was this ' Then Jake said," You mean-"' and that wass it i thought maby i was missing a couple of pages so i borrowed an ebook from an library but that ended the same so yeah. any way apart from that confusing last line it was an alright book. :)

I adored this book. The two main characters are sweet and perfect, the storyline was good and there were plenty of funny moments.

Odd to say but I found the heroine to be too sweet and too much of a pollyanna. The hero started out to be a rough and tough guy but that didn't last long.

As I had read the other books in this series, Wynne and Jake's story was a perfect addition to the "Cinderella" ball.
