The book is inspirational but rather like a root canal is/might be, since you know the alternative to having the procedure would be death or disfigurement!
Hard stuff, well told! All Saints can ...at times....seem unbearable....but this guy seems to be the real deal. Kidder jumps around a bit too much but his hearts in the right place and the his subject is a complex character.

I liked mountains beyond mountains. It was a really fascinating story of Dr .Paul's life. How he stood up for the Haitians when the people in America didn't agree to let them in to America. This book has a lot of vocab words, and you can picture the scene easily. Although this book is for adults and I'm only eleven, I think it's interesting
