This book was incomprehensible for me, an adult! I pity any child who is given this book to read! While the cover and title page give the impression that this is a biography on Joan Miro, it is not. And I have no idea why in my library it was filed in nonfiction. It is a story about a group of school children learning about Miro and a sad boring story it is. While there are plenty of illustrations, both of Miro's work and of Barcelona where he worked, the story is so bad that the illustrations make little sense. In the plus side, if there is one, the author does provide an excellent glossary and timeline. I wonder if all the books in this series are this BAD?
