What do you get if you cross one magic formula with a batch of burned muffins and a speeding tractor, along with a bald scientist and three loopy clones on top? Trouble. And one very scary adventure. You see, Augustus the dog has a stalker, Eddie keeps dropping off, and Avril Crump is racing against time—in the dark!
This book was alright, though not the height of children's literature. The plot was good, but the characters seemed undeveloped to me, although I haven't read the first book so maybe it's just me. I think if another highly-skilled author took the plot and it's characters and re-writ the entire book, it could've been fantastic. But maybe I'm just over-analysing a simple story.
