Group Policy is one of the most interesting area when it comes to managing a network. Surely, there are tons of other areas that are "interesting" as well and it really depends on who you ask. However, what other server technology allows you to configure users computers whether they are located right next to you, a floor above you, the next building, different states, or even in another country right from your workstation? What other technology allows you to easily manage the hundreds, if not thousands of computers and users in an organization and be able to dictate what settings apply to them, what they can and can't do on their computers, easily deploy software across your enterprise, etc?

This is one of the best Group Policy books I have read in a while. Group Policy is relatively easy to understand but hard to master. While reading this book won't make you a group policy expert, it certainly helps you better understand the fundamentals of Group Policy as a whole and make you have a better respect for it. Yes, that's right, respect. Group Policy is to be respected by all who touches it. One wrong move and you could end up causing your users with a ton of headaches that they didn't ask for. Reading this book will hopefully help you avoid those issues.

If you are thinking about managing group policy in your organization, this book is a must read. If you think you already know about group policy, this book is still for you because I promise you'll learn a lot of stuff you never thought you knew about group policy before!
