This book was definitely an underdog for me
I didn't know if I'd really like it but after reading it I can say it gets a solid 4.5/5

I loved the idea of this: a group of scientists all come together to talk about their inventions and they bring their families along, the fathers of 2 families are working on a very dangerous invention that will be revealed and then sent to the government however the hotel their staying at fails to see how a card key that can unlock any door including the one with the terrorist weapon in it is a pretty risky idea with pitpocketers around

This is one of those books where multiple povs aren't a bad thing because their are multiple povs per chapter and each person is finding info on the black box being stolen but no one communicates with eachother so they all get parts of the puzzle only to not understand the importance of that clue and then they throw the clue in the trash can (this happens multiple times)
It is infuriating yet it keeps you hooked
I would recommend this to anyone who likes a good clue-like mystery where they're all trapped in the same building pointing fingers at eachother while the hotel is on lockdown

This series of books got me reading on my own so I owe everything to them but even as a little kid I found the plot to be a little fantastical.
