Zits Treasury #2

Big Honkin' Zits

Rate this book

This treasury, Big Honkin' Zits, represents a compilation of Don't Roll Your Eyes at Me, Young Man! and Are We an "Us"?

With friends and family, Jeremy ponders life's great philosophical questions, such as, "If the universe is constantly expanding, how come the sky never gets any bigger?" He tackles serious issues, too, deciding with his buddy, Hector, to shave his head to support a friend's mom who's battling cancer.

Big Honkin' Zits masterfully guides its readers through the real-life joys and heartaches of being a teenager.

Its a great collection focusing on teenage boys, their peers and parents and shows how everyone deals with different perspectives of looking at the world. Its very positive and can be enjoyed by preteens up, I had a lot of fun reading it.

Big Honkin' Zits (Zits Treasury #2) by Jerry Scott, Jim Borgman -- Do comic strip writers sometimes take the low road and appeal to the lowest common denominator with their titles? Isn't it glorious! Such a great collection! Happy Reading!

This collection was even more enjoyable than the last one I read. Nostalgia for the comics and what they depict/represent, and a deeper appreciation for the adult perspective. Loved the references to dial up modems, Hemingway, and the like. A great palate cleanser in between books.

This was one of my favourite strips when I was younger, and it brought Borgman's excellent artwork from his political cartoons to this new genre. Wonderful... this was an excellent anthology read, and I shall keep it carefully in my library.

A second treasury of the comic strip Zits containing all the laughs from two smaller collections. Jeremy is a teenager who struggles with normal teenage things. The laughs are strong.

Big Honkin' Zits #2 by Jerry Scott and Jim Borgman (Andrews McNeel Publishing 2001)(741.56973). This is another collection of the Zits comic strip featuring 15 year old Jeremy and his family. Always funny! 7/10, finished 3/25/11.

I really enjoyed this book. It's mostly earlier Zits comics, but includes some of my favorites, such as Jeremy trying to deal with Sara being asked to prom by another guy. (There might be a mariachi costume involved. :D ) It's definitely a good read for when you're feeling down.

I used to read Zits when it first came out because it reminded me of myself and my mom. Now it reminds me of my wife and stepson.
