Excellent book! This book delivers the goods! It brings emotional intelligence to the work place and provides many specific pieces of practical advice for dealing with employee challenges that managers must face.

The chapters are categorized and specifically titled for easy reference, and each chapter is short and concise with no fluff. In addition to what to do in these situations, Sid Kemp offers specific scripts for what to say and how to think about each situation from multiple perspectives: the employee, the manager's, the company's, and other team members.

This is a book that deserves more than one read and a permanent spot on the book shelf.

some good

This book has some good information. Looking more for precepting and teaching rather than management. Other than that this book holds some good ideas
