Harivanshrai Bachchan weaves here a melancholic poetry of eternal separation from the beloved; of death of the beloved. It emanated from the tragedy of his own life, when he lost his wife. The personal suffering, the moments of despair, of the faint glimmer of hope, all is crafted so stupendously here that one is hooked through and through.

निशा निमंत्रण पढ़ कर ऐसा लगा जैसे पहली बार सुबह, शाम , भोर, रात, चाँद, तारे आदि से परिचय हुआ है। लगभग 100 कविताओं का संकलन है जो मूलतः विरह के गीत है। पत्नी के अवसान से दुखी बच्चन जी को सारी दुनिया कैसी प्रतीत होती है इसका बहुत ह सुंदर, दिल को छु लेने वाला दारुण चित्रण किया गया है। मुझ यह कविता संग्रह बहुत ज्यादा पसंद आई।

कवियों की बात बहुत निराली होती है। वो कवितायेँ लिख क्र पाठकों के सामने प्रस्तुत क्र देते हैं और पाठक किसी प्रकार से अपनी क्षमता के असुर अध्ययन करके एक असमंसज बना के अपने आप को संतुष्ट क्र लेते हैं। निशा निमत्रण के बड़ा ही अनोखा काव्य संग्रह है जो कई महत्वपूर्ण बातो पे विमर्श करती है.
