I sadly just sold this entire series because it was discontinued in English format (the United States for me, not sure of other English speaking countries). I do NOT support the reading of comics online illegally, therefore I will never know what happened to all of the characters in the end... and there were only a few more volumes to go! The series was bright, funny, full of great stories and friendships, amazing facts about dogs and the different breeds, and great morals to be taught. There were many scenes I dubbed "fan-service" in my head, as it involved the female characters in their panties or racy outfits but it's the nature of the business right? It's not a manga unless someone's half-naked at some point! But it wasn't too tacky, just harmless "ah I'm in my bedroom bein' half naked" kind of stuff. And the artist had a 'dark' sense of humor and liked to point out how Lupin got his name through the use of the girls sometimes ; ) Though I thoroughly enjoyed the series because I love dogs and the illustrations were beyond beautiful, it was time for me to let go of some of my manga. I'm hoping that my books will be found by some wandering child looking for a fun, yet informative read! After all, if you're crazy about dogs then you too are an "Inubaka"! : )
