About the author

After an MA in English, Simon Beckett spent several years as a property repairer before a stint teaching in Spain. Back in the UK, he played percussion in several bands. He has been a freelance journalist since 1992, writing for The Times, The Independent on Sunday Review, The Daily Telegraph, The Observer and other major British publications. In 2002, as part of an article on the National Forensic Academy, he visited the Body Farm in Tennessee. This last commission was the inspiration behind the internationally bestselling The Chemistry of Death, which was shortlisted for the CWA's Duncan Lawrie Dagger and has been translated into 21 languages. Simon Beckett is married and lives in Sheffield. The author of six novels, his second David Hunter thriller, Written in Bone, is published as a Bantam paperback in April 2008.

Dos relatos de 2 aparentes casos que luego no lo son: uno porque fue una caída y el asesino fue la osteoporosis y el otro porque los huesos eran tan viejos que eran más dignos de estudio por un arqueólogo que otra cosa.
Lo único medianamente relevante es que vemos cómo Hunter conoció a su esposa (ya muerta antes del inicio de la saga), pero como fue tan corriente todo, tampoco es que fuera muy informativo. GL Bis (Negro Bis: David Hunter)

Un relato cortísimo que sin más, un asesinato que no es tan asesinato solo se callo pero tenía los huesos débiles, y está encaprichado con un chica.
Y otro que encuentran el cadáver de una madre abrazando a su hija pero paso hace miles de años, no se porque me suena de haber visto esa foto 🤔
Son muy sencillitos la verdad

nic szczególnego, wydarzenie sprzed pierwszej części

Tutaj na pierwszy plan wysuwa się historia miłosna, gdy David poznaje Kare - swoją przyszłą żonę.

Morderstwo jest raczej w tle, zaprząta tylko myśli Davida. Oczywiście dostajemy zwięzły opis ciała jak i samego zdarzenia, ale raczej nie jest to nic ekscytującego.

Nic specjalnego jeśli chodzi o thriller, ale fajnie było zobaczyć jak wyglądało pierwsze spotkanie Davida i Kary, o której dowiedzieliśmy się już w "Chemii śmierci" :)
