Very comprehensive, with more practice problems than you could ever hope to solve. Can’t say I really referred back to this textbook often, but the fact my introductory chemical engineering class ripped most of its content straight from here speaks to its quality.

An easy and basic understanding about mass and energy balance! This textbook is like a weapon for me during first year in chem engine course. I use this textbook until I was in final year. Really recommended as to compare to other elementary textbooks

Equiped with a good amount of examples and problems as well as appropriate conceptual and theoretical background, this book will help any student of mass and energy balances to understand the subject.
