The honeymoon has to end sometime for a marriage to grow. Megan Sabella discovers she's tired of putting all her efforts into keeping her marriage romantic. She also feels— in spite of her promise to her husband that they wouldn't have children— that she now wants a baby. . .
This book was interesting. The H, after taking care of his large family of sisters, does not want a family of his own, and the h goes along with it. Then, after seven years of marriage, the h is surprised to find herself longing for a baby of her own. When she unexpectedly becomes pregnant during a vacation in Hawaii, she decides to have the child, but her pregnancy and the birth of their son put a strain on their marriage, which the H wanted to be a perpetual honeymoon --and nothing more.
I liked the h, but felt the H was a bit of a jerk. He turned out to be cheater, (although he reconciled with his wife at the end). There were a few stock characters: the cartoonish OW; the nice OM; and the H's intrusive family, (save for his wise mother). In spite of these stereotypes, I still found the story compulsively readable, and stuck with it till the end.
