بحث مهم وقيم ولكنه متقدم جداً وصعب بعض الشيء

مؤلّف هذا الكتاب هو دكتور جامعي وباحث لمدة سبعة وثلاثين عاما .
يحاول يثبت قضيّة بسيطة في كتابه وهي : إنّ قضيّة نظريّة التطوّر تحولت من مسألة علميّة تناقش بالحجج والأدلة والبراهين العلميّة إلى ( أيديولوجيا ) تفرض بالقوّة على الجميع والويل لمن يخالف المنهج السائد في الجامعات والحواضر العلميّة الذي ينتصر لنظريّة التطوّر .
فأن تكون معارضا وخصما لنظريّة التطوّر في جامعة أو قسم العلوم فقد حكمت على مستقبلك المهني بالخطر والتعرّض للعداء ، وهذا بالضبط هو ماحدث لمؤلف الكتاب أثناء محاولته الدفاع عن وجهة نظر مضادة لنظريّة التطور ، وإليكم بعض ماتعرّض له :
١- تم ابعاده بقوة من فوق منصة المؤتمر الأكاديمي حول مشكلات علم الأحياء .
٢- تم معاقبته بحذف بحثه من كتب المؤتمر
٣- محاولة إجباره على الاستقالة وفصله من التدريس
يقول الكاتب في بداية كتابه : الا يشير كل ّ هذا إلى أي درجة أصبحت فكرة التطور أيديولوجيا ؟
وفي عبارة لافتة تلخّص فكرة الكتاب يقول الكاتب : “ يؤمن الأكاديميون أصحاب الإيمان القوي والإخلاص لدينهم - سواء كانوا مسلمين أو مسيحيين أو يهود - أن التطور ليس نظرية علمية ، بل عقيدة تستخدم أداة لإنكار وجود الله ، عقيدة قد تم تحويلها إلى مفهوم ونظام عقائدي “
الفصل الأوّل بعنوان : نظرة على العلم والإيمان
في هذا الفصل يحاول المؤلف أن يبرز كيف نشأ التعارض بين العلم والدين وكيف تم الإنفصال بين العلم والدين بعد أن كانا متلازمين ؟
في البداية كان البحث في علم الأحياء يقوم بتحليل المعلومات وتركيب أجهزة الكائن الحي من المبادىء البسيطة إلى أن يصل إلى مستويات عليا تشير للبحث عن خالق لكن مع تقدم العلوم ومع دخول فكدر التطور أرجعت هذه التركيبات والآليات المتقنة إلى عمليات عشوائيّة لقوانين الطبيعة بلا حكمة وإدراك بل مجرد مصادفات عشوائيّة ، وأدى ذلك لاستبعاد فرضيّة وجود خالق وتم انفصال العلم عن الدين .
الفصل الثاني بعنوان : نظريات حول أصل الحياة
يقوم المؤلف في هذا الفصل باستعراض نظريات نشوء الحياة على سطح الأرض ويناقش كل نظرية ، ومن هذه النظريات :
١- نظريّة التولد الذاتي ( التخلق اللاحيوي ) : وهو القول بأن الحياة نشأت من مواد ميتة ليس لها أصل حيوي بتاتا .
٢- نظرية الأصل الكوني للحياة : حيث يكون مصدر الحياة من السحب الترابية في الفضاء والكون ووجود بعض البكتريا على النيازك التي كانت هي المصدر الأول للحياة علي الأرض .
٣- النظرية الطبيعية : وهي تشبه فكرة التولد الذاتي لكن وفقا لذه النظرية فإنه يظهر كئن حي بسيط في البداية ثم يكون هذا الكائن البسيط كائنا آخر متطورا عن طريق التطور على مدار فترة زمنية طويلة .
٤- نظرية الخالق : ومفادها أن جميع الكائنات الحية وغير الحية خلقها الخالق ذو العلم والقدرة المطلقين .
في باقي فصول الكتاب يناقش المؤلف بإسهاب الفرق بين نظرية الخلق ونظرية التطور ، وفي الحقيقة فإن الحجج التي يوردها الكتاب والأسئلة التي يثرها حول نظرية التطور أسئلة جديرة بالتمعن لدى أي باحث في علم الأحياء ، لنأخذ بعض الأمثلة من الكتاب :-
المثال الأول : هو تنازع البقاء والبقاء للأقوى أو الأصلح :
يدعي أنصار نظرية التطور أنّ الأنواع تتطور من الكائنات البدائيّة إلى الأنواع الأكثر تعقيدا ، ولكن ألا يؤدي الأخذ بهذا المفهوم إلى أن تكون الأنواع البسيطة قد فنيت تماما في وقتنا الحالي ، لتمتلئ الأرض بالأنواع الأكثر رقيّا وتعقيدا ؟
فمثلا نحل العسل كائن يمتاز بالرقي والتعقيد في تركيبه وبنائه جعلت من قدراته قدرات مثاليّة في التفوق المعماري لبناء خلية نحل العسل ، لكن بماذا نفسر وجود النوع الثاني من النحل وهو النحل الطنان الذي لا يتميز بنفس موهبة نحل العسل ؟
وهناك أمثلة أخرى تثبت أن وجود الكائنات الأقل قدرات وموهبة يجعل من فرضية التطور غير متسقة ومتناقضة .
هذا مثال فقط لقوة بعض الحجج والأسئلة التي يطرحها الكتاب أمام أنصر نظرية التطور وإلا فالكتاب مليء بالمعلومات والشواهد العلمية من علم الأحياء والجيولوجيا حول دحض فكرة التطور ، والأجمل في الكتاب هو محاولة ربط الأفكار المختلفة بعلم المنطق والفلسفة لتتوضيح افتقار أنصار التطور إلي حجج منطقيّة متماسكة مثل استخدم أنصار التطور إلى الحجة الدائريّة في توضيح قانون بقاء الأصلح .
كتاب ممتع وشائق ويستحق القراءة والبحث لكل باحث علمي .

He asks the main important question that the evolution theory cannot answer. This is the reason why it is still called a theory and not rule. Just to have to see those questions this Book should be read. An then Look for the answers.

Bad sides: Kind of emotionally written, unnecessary lengthening of some topics, a bit disorganized.
Good sides: Comprehensive, covered a good area of fields, the last part was good too.
Overall: Not very good, also not bad.

This book is written in a histrionic, paranoid tone designed to appeal to emotions in order to distract the reader from its glaring factual errors.
Firstly, Mr Yilmaz calls evolution "a worldview, ideology, dogma - and even a religion to be believed in." Evolution is not a religion, it is a scientific theory. He also conflates evolution with abiogenesis and claims that it is simply atheistic dogma. I will provide quotes to demonstrate this.
Mr Yilmaz himself admits that the first book on evolution he read was one declaring it to be a hoax. He then claims that he taught a course on evolutionary biology because the other teachers "could not face up to differing views and controversies."
The author then flat-out lies to the reader, citing the reason he taught evolution as bio-philosophy was because "the subject is not predicated on empirical research or verified through experiments or observation." As somebody who has studied evolution for several years this I find this egregiously offensive coming from a 'teacher'.
Saying that thought and movement opposing evolution have been growing rapidly is also incorrect. Opposition to evolution has been shrinking due to the overwhelming scientific evidence in support of it, but ultraconservative Bible/Quran literalists are becoming more vocal in their desperation.
Mr Yilmaz calls Turkey the place where "evolution has long been converted into dogma with a materialistic and positivist mentality", in direct contradiction to the well-known fact that Turkey accepts evolution even less than the US does.

Just because Turkey is one of the more secular Islamic countries does not mean it is a bastion of evolution. Of the 34 countries surveyed, most of them European, but including Japan and the US, Turkey had the lowest acceptance of evolution.
Mr Yilmaz than steps beyond all credibility and claims that evolutionists are trying to fix it "entirely within an ideological framework and making it a 'scientific camouflage' for their Marxist and atheist mentality."
But wait.
There's more.
When he was interrupted with his presentation in a conference about the problems in the teaching of biology, and his anti-evolution paper not published, and after his lectures were secretly recorded to determine if he was actually teaching evolution objectively (if he had known about the recordings it would have negated the whole purpose of them), he has the unmitigated gall to say "Nowhere in the world has a scientist been exposed to academic persecution to such a degree, including the communist former Soviet Union."
Excuse me?
Did you just claim that your refusal to accept the most strongly-supported theory in the history of science, and the resulting investigation into your teaching that naturally followed, is the most persecuted any scientist has ever been? Dmitri Belyaev was fired from his job and the whole course of Russian genetics was set back decades. Numerous teachers have been punished or even fired for teaching evolution in the US.

"I cannot remain silent in the face of unrelenting attempts to place an atheist ideology at the foundation of the education system in the name of 'science' by pressure, manipulation, fabrication and fear."
Evolution has nothing to do with atheism. It is taught in all good education and scientific establishments because there has not been a single piece of evidence to contradict it, and people like Irfan Yilmaz have been trying for the last 155 years.
"I lived through the times when university students were silenced because they queried with their limited knowledge the dictatorial teaching of evolution and were reviled by the professors as reactionary bigots."
This is blatantly histrionic fear-mongering overtly trying to cast the creationists as brave underdogs and the evolutionists as cruel oppressors.
"For atheists... evolution is the indispensable foundation of everything and the necessary condition shaping the whole world." He then spends a while waxing lyrical about Islam's unique approach and how it satisfies both the mind and the heart. Moving on.
Mr Yilmaz then claims that evolution is merely a hypothesis (a flat-out lie, especially for someone who claims to have taught it), claims that acceptance of evolution has led the world to a "terrible downfall". More fear-mongering.
That's just the introduction.
What follows is an account of how evolution necessitates not believing in a Creator, which is just incorrect, as there are more theistic evolutionists n the world than atheistic evolutionists.
"Evolution doesn't make belief in God impossible, it only makes not believing in God possible" - Steven Weinberg
He then goes on with the usual 'evolution is just random chance' and 'it is taboo to ever dare question evolution as a fact' arguments that you've heard from every proponent of Intelligent Design you've ever met.
Darwin only interpreted nature as a product of evolution due to his religious weakness and lack of knowledge about God. Hmm, I haven't actually heard that one before.
It was the weakness and 'inadequacy' of Christian scholars that led them to think the world was billions of years old.
It is too unlikely that Earth just happened to have the perfect conditions for life (ignoring the fact the life adapted to the environment and not the other way around).
Evolution doesn't explain abiogenesis (which is unrelated) and therefore is insufficient and doesn't qualify as a theory.
Yada yada yada.
Any review that covers every piece of dishonestly and misinformation in this book would actually be longer than the book itself. This book is not worth your time or money

الكتاب يتبني موقف الهجوم على نظرية التطور بشكل مباشر و يحاول ضحضها بكل الطرق و المبتدأ في القراءة عن التطور قد ينخدع بيه لدرجة كبيرة لذا أنصح أن يتم قرأته وقراءة الكتب المدافعة عن التطور و حضور محاضرات لها ليقف القارئ على أرض صلبة وتبني موقف سليم.
