Scrumptious as a cherry peach parfait . . . or a sinfully kinky foursome.
The popular cooking show, Brunch with Laura, is T.S. Larkin's brainchild. Rather, it was. Because her boss couldn't keep it in his pants, Truly's unemployed and not sure what to do with herself. When a juicy tip leads her to the best-kept secret in Denver-three mouthwatering chefs whose restaurant image needs a makeover-her PR instincts start tingling. And her imagination simmers with private fantasies.
Ever since the last woman he, Clay and Louis shared nearly ruined everything, Nate has worked hard to get things back in order. Truly's ideas could rescue their business, but her non-stop curves, luscious lips and cherry-on-top hair are a sure-fire recipe for another disaster.
But when the ingredients are right, the reaction is inevitable. A kiss in the walk-in explodes into a wild night of indulging Truly's every sweet and spicy whim. She is the missing ingredient for the perfect foursome. Except Nate is suddenly not so sure he's willing to let the others lick the spoon, much less share.
Warning: Explicit sex, bisexual ménage, delicious recipes, sexy chefs who like to share. Threesomes, foursomes, kinky food tastings, excessive use of shower toys and chocolate . . . Hungry yet?

I think I’ll just let the book description speak for itself on this one.
Scrumptious as a cherry peach parfait...or a sinfully kinky foursome.
Warning: Explicit sex, bisexual ménage, delicious recipes, sexy chefs who like to share. Threesomes, foursomes, kinky food tastings, excessive use of shower toys and chocolate...Hungry yet?
Yes, please! I really enjoyed this smokin’ hot novella! And I love the sexy cover studs! YOWZA!
But how about this yummy, dreamy chef casting? Mmmmm.....
Nate
Louis
Clay – A sweet, gentle ebony skinned hunk with a bald head, muscular, linebacker build, and startlingly green eyes...hmmm...how about either of these sexy choices?
Three master chefs and a girl. What can I say? I am on holidays and in the mood to read something easy and relaxing. This book was both. And the three chefs were too sexy... And the dishes were too yummy...I would love to try the cappuccino souffle with the chocolate raspberry truffle ganache...
I love menage books and the "more the merrier" attitude, I mean why have one gorgeous chef when you can have three? Quite literally one for each course! Also, if you got at it long term, that is three extra hands not only to bring you great orgasms but other important things like hang shelves, any heavy lifting (moving would be made soooo much easier!) and in the case of Truly Scrumptious, cooking as they are all master chefs. Ofcourse there is the down side of extra washing up and more dirty undies to pick up, but these guys are hot enough to keep you in a constant state of blis so you probably wouldn't even notice...
Sorry, I think I went off into a little bit of a fantasy there! So, back to the book, this was a short, sweet and sexy novella, the guys in it were every womans fantasy and the sex in it was hawt! There wasn't loads of it, there was really only a couple of scenes, but boy, those guys know how to put a chocolate mousse to good use! It also involve a little m/m although most the focus was on Truly, the main female character. This wasn't a HEA that involved all four of them, just Nate and Truly, this wasn't the more believable bit in the story for me. Everything still felt to superficial for me and yet they were declaring undying love, they hadn't even had sex without his buddies watching and joining in so I wasn't too convinced. But it was novella so there were constraints.
I would recommend this if you want a good and HAWT quick menage read.
T.S. Larkin just got fired from her very lucrative PR job because she dared to go against her sexist boss. She created hits for that T.V. station and now she is forced to start all over again. Fortunately her assistant has a line on three hot chefs. The Iron Horse is owned and operated by Nate, Louis and Clay. Each has their specialty in the kitchen but they are lacking expertise in the PR department. Their food turns on Truly and she knows that if given the chance she could turn these chefs into stars. One of them keeps standing in her way, Nate.
There is something about Truly that gets under Nate’s skin. He doesn’t know if it’s his need to have sex with her or the business decisions she’s making. Nate may not know the answer but he’s more than willing to explore sex with this fiery woman, but will Truly run when she discovers he shares everything with Clay and Louis?
Truly Scrumptious is an erotic feast for those with a taste for the wild delights. I liked the fact that this wasn’t your straight forward the characters meet and then immediately jump into bed. The tension between Nate and Truly is hot and adds extra heat to the story. I really liked Clay and Louis’ relationship and would love to read a story about just them. The food talk totally made me want to eat at The Iron Horse! R. G. Alexander redefines the statement Truly Scrumptious in this sinfully good story.
Oh why could I not been given a name like Truly Scrumptious...surely with a name like that all manner of interesting things would come my way as they did for the heroine of this book, TS.
TS helps launch the careers of up and coming chefs. Booted from her current tv job she is introduced to three chefs who are as tasty as their food. Their restaurant is floundering and she sees an opportunity to make their careers a success as well as her own.
The chefs, Clay, Loius and Nate are gorgeous and soon sparks fly between Nate and TS. He's less then thrilled about the changes TS insists must be made and equally bothered by his growing attraction to her. See...our chefs have shared more then recipes and the last time they shared a woman it didn't work out so well. And Nate isn't sure if TS is a woman he can share.
I recommend this story for anyone who likes a quick sexy read but I do have to express one disappointment. This story could have easily been a full length book in my opinion...I wanted more! There were so many rich characters who could have easily been developed more.
TRULY SCRUMPTIOUS has an interesting title and premise. While there have been a lot of stories lately that focused the food world, I don’t mind since the Food Network is a channel my television is usually tuned to. TRULY SCRUMPTIOUS is a short and steamy read. I think I must be getting used to ménage stories, because they haven’t been driving me batty as they used to. That is to say, the ménage relationship in TRULY SCRUMPTIOUS didn’t bother me. Although the sexual interactions were hot, I couldn’t help but find myself wishing for more character development between Truly and Nate. What I found especially lacking was an emotional connection that equaled their passionate encounters. Because of that, I found it hard to believe in their happily ever after or how they suddenly declared their love for each other as I personally couldn’t see the build up between them besides the sex.
However, although TRULY SCRUMPTIOUS didn’t work for me, if you’re looking for a short, erotic read, I would highly recommend TRULY SCRUMPTIOUS.
This was my second time through with this book and it was just as "scrumptious" as the first time! Loved the storyline revolving around the food world. I do, however, feel the ending was a little rushed and could have been fleshed out a little more. However, it's understandable due to the fact that its a novella.
Huh. Not quite the ending I was expecting. SPOILER ALERT! Don't read unless you want to know how this ends:
Even with being unhappy about the ending, I still love this book. I love the characters and I love their story. If I could, I'd have the author rewrite the ending and re-release it. All just for me. :D
Disappointing endings aside, I like that Truly isn't supermodel thin, but what we call "normal" - curves and all. When these characters hook up, it's so hot it makes your toes curl. It makes you wish you were Truly. Or at least in her situation, with 3 men worshiping you. We get a couple very good scenes in this book, but there is also some fade to black where we're told she had a hot night, but we don't get every gory detail. In an erotica book, that's very refreshing.
The sad panda ending is what keeps me from giving it the full 5* it really deserves, so 4* it will have to be.
the cover reveals three men and a lady, but dont be fooled by it. from the blurbs and cover, i assumed this is a menage story but no. this is ur normal contemporary romance but there is some steamy foursome scene.
so yeah. thats exactly what makes me dissapointed at the first place. the character are well built, almost all of them. except one, which is the heroine. the smut, steamy and burnt me. the story well, thats enough because this is a short novella.
actually the plot has a chance to be longer than this. a lot past could be explored to lengthen the novel. and i believe it would be a nice full book.

I always find R.G.'s warnings to be fun. Her stories are plenty of fun as well. This one is no exception. Truly Scrumptious gives us a sexy trio of restaurant owners who like to share. Once they get past some issues, they find that the woman who wants to make them famous is just the naughty girl for them.
In this quick read TS finds herself needing to re-purpose herself when a run-in with her boss results in loss of her beloved job with no prospects on the horizon. Enter three gorgeous chefs that show her what’s actually on the special menu.
This is really a romance masquerading as erotica. The intimate scenes are graphic, but the characters betray the storylines romantic tendencies.
This was a good (rather short) story. I liked Truly, I enjoyed the story line and it had a good ending. To be honest the thing that brought the story down to 3 stars for me was the hero, Nate. He was pretty much a jerk through most of the story. He made me dislike him a lot and I had a hard time rooting for him. He came through in the end but only with pushing from his friends and family which is kinda sad to me. I liked the story but would have preferred a better hero.
This Book was a HOT READ!!! Yummy from beginning to end. I liked this book because it was sexy, easy to follow and the heroes were oh so Scrumptious lol Nate is somewhat an ass but because he and his buds have hurt before and Truly is insecure but with the help of the heroes she seems to get over it. Lots of sex and humour in this book, I recommend it as a must read Menagerie :)
I think this couldve been a good book if it was longer it had potential for a great story line but once you get into the book its over. It kind of reminded of a book i hated but the plot was better in this book and i didnt dislike any of the chara's and they knew what they were getn into when it started. You cant expect much from a short book but it was ok.
LOVED THIS! I really loved this book. So romantic, so intense and so wicked sexy hot! 175 pages of love and hot steamy threesome sex and add a little food in there and it's truly scrumptious. I recommend this book to everyone. Ladies, just imagine how amazing it would be to have three extremely sexy men who loved you & loved to pleasure you. WOW!
This book had the potential to be very good, however about half way through the storyline became rushed. Nate had instant love with TS with no explanation at all. The menage storyline ended abruptly. It could have been great but it fell way short
"This book just didn't spend enough time in the development of the relationships. We went from meeting, to sex, to married, in one fell swoop. I wanted to see more interactions to grow the relationship and make them believable."
It was okay. the story is very abrupt and lacking information in a lot of places so I had trouble following the story line sometimes. It changed POV without any transitions, so that was confusing at times. Not worth $2.99 in my opinion.
Liked it a lot. A little confusing how and when exactly TS & Nate got so serious. This was my introduction to RG Alexander and it was a good one. Will for sure be reading more of her in the future.
