It also contains much rare and atmospheric photography. This isn't a set of shallow details about players' careers, nor is it a publication weighed down with statistics. Author and Molineux fanatic Peter Lansley writes for The Times and has unearthed a whole host of previously untold anecdotes and revelations from some 35 years of Wolverhampton Wanderers life.

This was such an enjoyable book to write as it brought together the tales, trials and tribulations of legendary Wolves players, such as John Richards and Steve Bull, from a fan’s perspective. Going round and interviewing them all to collate their insights on the club, past and present, was a privilege and I hope Wolves fans young and old enjoyed it. It’s a tale of obsession, family, and how we supporters get so enmeshed in our clubs.
