Rate this book
Hailing from the streets of New York, Naomi Foxx worked as a flight attendant for America's Airways for five years. Throughout her years of travels Naomi has seen the world and been in the company of some very wealthy and powerful men. Because of her connections, she helped her brother Reggie Foxx orchestrate his illegal drug smuggling operation. She had a few TSA agents, bag handlers and a couple of mules on the payroll so she saw her financial empire triple in no time. What Naomi didn't see was a sudden turn of events that will force her to do things she never thought she would do. And one by one, everyone in Reggie's organization will either end up behind bars or disappear altogether. Once Naomi realizes this, she escapes into hiding. With loads of cash in hand, a passport and a visa, Naomi has to make the decision about whether she needs to flee the country before her life end up in the wrong hands.

I really enjoyed this book. It held my attention all the way through. It was action packed and didn't lag. My only complaint is the end and this usually happens when there is a part II. It just ended with a dead halt. I've described this before in my reviews. My heart is beating a mile per minute waiting for this enormous climax/finish and I flatline on the last page. The end of this book left me feeling and thinking W-T-H just happened. A little bit more closure would've been nice.

All in all, for entertainment purposes, it is well written and worth the time. It is a fast read that can be read in hours not days. I would recommend to lovers of Street/Urban Fiction. And as Kiki fans know, she doesn't disappoint.

Family before money

Wow this was a banger read from beginning to end, Naomi and her brother Reggie were drug dealers with legit jobs on the side, their friend Damian was Reggie’s right hand man, who was in love with Naomi, a lot of Drama through out this book!!!

Yasss another good read from Kiki, she really brings the heat to the pages!! I can’t wait to start the next book in this series. I recommend this book.

3.5 stars!

This book really didnt have me very engrossed like other drug cartel books I've read. I bought it because I thought it would be very good and the storyline is a tad bit different dealing with drug smuggling operations. I thought the book was okay but I will still continue the series since I have the other books.

OMG! (In my valley girl voice) I cannot express how truly good this book was. It had me by the edge of my seat twisting and turning trying to figure out what would happen next. New York's FINEST has everything from action, drama, deceit, and lies, it was like I was watching a very good movie because I could picture these characters so vividly in my mind. Meet Naomi, her brother Reggie and his right hand man Damian, together they build a very powerful drug cartel. With Naomi being a flight attendant it was very easy to have there drugs smuggled back to the U.S, that was her part of the operation making sure she kept airport security on there payroll. Having look-outs making sure there packages wasn't going into the wrong hands.
Reggie was the brains of the operation him and his right-hand man Damian made sure everything on the streets ran smoothly and that money was being accounted for at all times, making sure there employees were on top of there game. But things get twisted and someone starts to target Naomi and Reggie then when Naomi goes on a money pick-up to one of there spots she witnesses one of there workers get his head blown straight off in the elevator , and barley escapes death herself.
The plot on this story was so very strong I also like the chemistry that was going on between Naomi and Damian, which was her savior through- out the book. This book kept me up all night wondering who it could have been that was out to kill Reggie and Naomi. In the beginning of the book I thought that is was one of there workers, maybe one of them got jealous and wanted to be the new man on top of the drug game. Then towards the middle I thought well maybe it's his boy Damian and he's tired of being the right hand-man and wants to be the man. Then towards the end I gave up because at that point the book had so many twist it could have been anybody, but I tell you what when I finally finished this book it was totally not who I suspected.
Now time for the questions I ask at the end of all my reviews.
Would I recommend this book to anyone else? Hell Yes! You need to really get this book
On a scale of 1-10 how would you rate this book? I would give it a 9
Would I buy any other books from this author based off this one? In a heart beat

Kiki took this in a different direction. But I liked it. I enjoyed how Naomi had used her connections as an flight attendant to elevate her into the drug game. I know that Marco and his son Miguel set them up to get them out the game. The fact that they refused to let them know how much they were trying to import in was a red flag. Second red flag was when Mr. Wright told her point blank that he did not have a good feeling about it. That's when Naomi should have pumped the brakes. Marco blew the whistle and called the feds. He knows there is no way for it to be traced back to him and also it would but them in his debt for the feds taking his product. I also think Vanessa was giving Marco information. When she was sitting there texting away she was probably informing ben and dre. Who in turn was probably working for Marco. I don't like how we did not get to be privy to Vanessa getting hers. It would have been really good if Kiki had let Naomi beat her down. Gangsta award goes to Stone. He didn't blink twice when he blew up that top floor. Like Foxx said he handled the problem. That's hard not to even think twice and do what you have to do to protect those you are loyal too. Any other person would have just let them get bused or would have ran and left the dead body. He got them out and eliminated the dead body. Reggie kind of stupid to me. He should have left New York. You know Internationally Known is going to be juust as good. I also like the way Damian came across. She worked him into the story line and slowly gave him credibility. Something tells me there is more to Damien than what we getting right now.

A thrilling read from beginning to end, I could not put this book down until the very last page. Naomi was a very relatable character. A career woman with a very corrupt secret life, but with undying loyalty to her brother Reggie and their friend and partner in the drug game Damien. The big mystery of who was behind the demise of the organization was a bit comical because of who it was, but was really justified when you look at the whole picture. The story telling was excellent, but the only thing I didn't like was there were really no descriptive details of the main characters physical appearance other than Damien being dark skinned, and Naomi being half black half puerto rican; so the reader really doesn't have a good idea of the way they look. I hope this is added to the 2nd book. Overall a really good read.

I enjoyed New York's Finest even though it had some show moments. Naomi wanted the glamorous life, including the money but not the outcome of she was ever caught. Reggie was a straight loose cannon!!! I didn't like Vanessa at all!!! She was too caught up spending all Reggie's money but still couldn't remain loyal to her husband. So I didn't feel bad that she finally got what she deserved after setting her husband up. I also liked Damian and how laid back he was. Can't wait to read part 2 to see how they deal with Marco and Miguel.

This book started off slow but it finally got some action. Once the action started, it seemed like the book was over too soon. Once I started enjoying it, it was over. Now I am patiently waiting for Internationally Known to see how everything plays itself out.

Strong beginning and strong end, but the middle lacked excitement. This is my first book by this author, and I found her writing style a bit too simplistic.

Passion and aggression keeps this book moving from scene to scene, sexual scenes need to leave more to the imagination to be good
