"Introductory Chemistry" is a college textbook that teaches the basics 0f chemistry. It explains basic chemical components like elements and minerals as well as chemical procedures. The textbook explains the chemical concepts in a fun natured way using stories and real world examples anyone could relate to or understand. This makes it easy for students to understand the chemical concepts. Pictures, diagrams, and charts also help make it easy for students new to chemistry to understand the concepts of chemistry.

The diagram and charts are simple and easy to understand which helps readers learn the subject. the format the textbook is written in also easy to understand with each subject being divided into its own chapter. I was surprised to see how easy and organized the textbook was. the textbook also provides a glossary for students to look up the definitions of words.I would recommend this textbook to anyone about to learn chemistry.

Absolutely love this textbook. Tro explains things in a manner that is easy to understand conceptually, and plenty of great questions at the end of each chapter to solidify what you've learned. By far my favorite intro to Gen Chem textbook.

Skipped most of the exercises and reviews, but the text was very clear and thorough.

I enjoyed the book. It provided careful explanations of the phenomenon, and relevant real-world applications. It also has a cornucopia of excercises, some with answers, which greatly aids in the understanding process. It includes basic topics, but dares also to touch other more complex but very interesting topics: nuclear, organic and biochemistry. It left me wanting to learn more about the subject.
