Christopher Wright is the author of dozens of horror fiction books for children and young adults. He writes under the pseudonyms Johnathan Rand and Christopher Knight. Almost all of Wright's books (save American Chillers) take place in his home state of Michigan.
You know what vaccuums do? They suck, like this book. Is Rand self aware?
I bet Jonathan Rand IS a vacuum. He sucks all the good parts out of Goosebumps books and that makes a Chillers book.
Let me tell you about my experience with this shit. I went to the library to check it out when all of a sudden I noticed shit on the ground.
I accidentally stepped in it.
I freaked out and quickly went to go check out an American Chillers book, because historically speaking, they've been useful and ONLY useful for cleaning up dog shit. Forget telling the librarian that there's literal dog shit on the library floor.
After I checked it out, I quickly ripped off some pages and started wiping the shit off my shoes. They become squeaky clean once again.
Recommended to anyone that steps in dog shit at the library. Thanks Rand!
I absolutely loved this book. The characters are actually pretty smart. The book does foreshadow a lot but I think that adds to the plot. This book is really easy to follow, you shouldn't get lost reading it. The characters are really brave throughout the whole book. The characters are really smart by putting legs on a vacuum.
The authors writing is fantastic. The uncle owns the vacuum shop, and is very original with his Roomba like vacuum. Although, all the customers have to do is put the vacuum up the stairs, it is not that simple. The Uncle tried his best to keep his secret to the kids. It is not the Uncles fault the coding went evil. My good friend Quandavious Dingle or Jaxon for short also read this book and did a review on it.
I hate this book it hurts my head to read this book. The characters are dumb and talk like idiots. It is always foreshadowing. I am always lost when reading. The characters are always scared of everything. But some how they think there smarter than Albert Einstein by putting some legs on a vacuum.
The author writes likes he's in kindergarten. The Uncle that owns the vacuum store but he can't be original with his goofy secret vacuums (aka a Roomba) that he can't figure out how to get a vacuum up and down stairs. All the customers have to do is put the vacuum up or down the stairs it quite simple. Also the Uncle can't keep a promise because he can't figure out how to do his coding stop the vacuums from turning evil. I can't wait to read more of these dumb books.

This book is about a girl who loves electronics, and is very talented at doing stuff with it and she started liking electronics, because her uncle builds vacuums and other cool nifty eletronics. Her uncle chet like i said is a vacuum cleaner maker guy and so he had this idea where vacuums could fun and work by themselves as long as they had a sastainable energy source, and i think we all know how that is going to turn out.So then one night then girl went into the room and found what her uncle had been working on.She asked him why and what and how and he answered and in that moment, the vacuums came alive and terroized the girl and her brother and her uncle chet and thats where the horror come in
This book was about a girl named Brooke and she was REALLY into electronics. Her and her friend spider were always building electronic kits to work on for fun. Then Brooke needed money for the electronic kits so she needed a job at her uncles vacuum shop. Then her uncle had a job for her and her friend spider. This project was like no other they were building a vacuum that vacuums all on its own but it went terribly wrong.
I really liked this book it was very fun to read and very exciting. I would rate this book a 4 star because of how exciting and how fun it was to read.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes to read American Chillers or if they just like exciting books that are fun to read.

The book I read is Vicious Vacuums of Virginia. I rated this book a four because the book had some sections that were kind of choppy. Other wise it was a good book with a creative story line. My favorite character was Gizmo the cat because he got into so much mischievous. For example when Spider and Brook went into the other room, Gizmo turned on one of the vacuums and scared Spider and Brook. One of the reasons I chose to read this book.Over all I would recommend this book to my friends.
The book I read was , "American Chillers #30". I like the book although, some of the writing in the book wasn't as entertaining as the first book I read.I mostly like the book because the language and descriptive writing used. I recommend this book if you like action and if you like kinda funny horror it was a great book...Enjoy!
"Vicious Vacuums of Virginia" by Johnathan Rand Is a real page turner. While working with her uncle in his repair shop, Brooke and her friend build a new vacuum cleaner. But little did they know, this vacuum will cause serious havoc. The vacuum robot goes on an insane rampage and is destroying everything. Can they stop it?
