A nice read about one Astronaut Commander's life going from sorrow of losing one husband to finding her true soul mate and happiness again. It's funny how if we stop searching for love it will find us. The title "Orion" is the shuttle that Astronaut Commander Susan Davis commanded. I thought Susan and Astronaut Chance Walker's romance was so sweet, however I wished that A.S. Johnson would of added a little more action to the love scenes by putting the erotica in there. Over all though the story was sweet with a great HEA.

This book is not a typical romance. Readers who enjoy science fiction mixed with romance, a plot hard to find in many novels, will be happy to discover this book. The main character, Susan, is a Commander for a space shuttle. She is also a widow; she still grieves for her husband. Although she is not looking for love, she finds love via Chance. Chance, also an astronaut, has loved Susan from afar. Through a series of fast-paced events, the reader eagerly follows the love story between Susan and Chance.

For readers who are not fans of romance, there is more to the plot than love scenes. The novel does not have many slow, lingering scenes. The author does not allow the reader time to despair of a possible romance, Chance and Susan become "more than colleagues" quickly. There is plenty of dialogue and drama. Science fiction buffs will enjoy many scenes involving space shuttles and even some laboratory features-specifically health assessments. The author clearly did research; the dialogue between the astronauts and the ground will sound official.

The ending is both satisfying and happy. The reader is not left on a cliff-hanger or too surprised-though the author does have one or two in store! This novel will be enjoyed by adults who like romance and fiction.

Thank you soooo much for sending the book!!! The book is GREAT, I really enjoyed reading it and I love all the characters in the book. Chance is the PERFECT man that everyone wants to have. This is a MUST READ book the love story between Susan and Chance is just extraordinary just like the book.
The book is about the Chance an astronaut who has been in love with Susan who is also an astronaut since, he first saw her and she has no clue about his feelings. However, she also feels something for the handsome Chance and one night while they are out eating Chance FINALLY kisses Susan and she is totally attracted to him also. Their love story picks up from there and they both go above and beyond for each other. At the same time, they have some close friends who are always there for them supporting them. Especially Ty who is also a great guy and who was always there for both Susan and Chance. I want to talk more about the book specially the end that was awesome and just the perfect end to an awesome love story. BUT I don't want to ruin the book and at the same time it makes you read the book. Please don't hesitate to buy it and read it you are going to love it. Is a great love story!!!!!!!!!

Orion is a story about a widowed astronaut, Susan, and her best friend, Chance. Though they have known each other for years, Chance repressed his affection due to Susan’s marriage and later her mourning. However, when Susan begins to fall in love with him as well, the two slowly learn to embrace their connection, finding peace in each other’s company. The romance that enfolds is sweet and idyllic. It's a relaxing holiday read, a book that definitely lifts one’s spirit. Susan is very sympathetic and I found her optimism inspiring.

I thought the book was fun to read, good for most ages 13 and up. I found it easy to follow and I could picture events, places, and things very well by discriptions that were given and I was able to visualize it as well.
I'd recommend this novel to my family and friends. I look forward to reading her next book.

I received this book in a giveaway from Goodreads First Reads. This book was a wonderful love story of finding "the one" after tragedy in ones life. I enjoyed the cast of characters and was very happy that it had such a family feel to it as well as a romantic feel. I would recommend this to those who enjoy romance and dreams come true stories.

A Strong female lead-Susan and a Sexy male lead-Chance. Space and possiblities. I took a break from my normal 'paranormal romance' books to read this book. A touch of reality with my romance. It was good.

Space travel and romance. I couldn't wait to dive into it but it could have been so much better. The romance flatlined. I mean I get the yearning and stuff and Chance making up for five years of waiting in the wings but the declarations and vows of eternal love simply never stopped and every chance they got they were jumping each other. All in all a bit too sugary for my palate. I'd have enjoyed a lot more suspense.

Needs proofreading.
