Lelu was rescued from a ravine when Elysse adopted him from the animal shelter. He was four months old at the time and very sick. But soon he recovered and turned into a very charming family member. The fun, the love and the drama are incorporated in the pages Elysse managed to document with photography over the course of Lelu's entire life. "Forever Loved" is the love story of two cats, Lelu, a male Manx, and Mitzy, a female Chocolate Point Siamese, from adoption in August 1997 to Lelu's death on February 16, 2010. The book ends very dramatically with the viewing, Mitzy saying Good Bye to Lelu, her adoring best friend, the love of her life.
