The beat creepy tale to come out of Something Awful - beats Slenderman by MILES.
The start of the 50 Foot Ant saga, HM is the story of the new recruits sent to old DDR garrisons, just as the Cold War was ending, and learning that the previous Nazi residents had never really left.
Based on Ant’s brother’s stories from his time in the Army, these stories will change your view of snowy winter nights. I have to reread this, any time that we have a good snow!

Note- these are written from the journals of a non-com; his writing is not of a professional style.

I'm on my nth re-read of this story, its good quality creepy pasta that borders on being a novella. Worth a read for anyone interested in the genre.

some of the moments are good, and creepy enough.. but it not really well written. the narrator also have this duality of both beliving and not believing the supernatural events he encountered.
