نشأ علم اللسانيات النفسي في صيف عام 1951. وشهد من وقتها تطورات كثيرة في المنهجية والرؤى.

A solid, informative, yet mostly accessible introductory text for the field. I particularly liked the appendix on research methods (although it's a bit too cursory in my opinion).

The review sections are great, and I actually feel prepared to tackle more advanced texts in this and adjacent disciplines now. Mission accomplished.

It was helpful to me as a support to my psycholinguistics course. It was really great. I loved it. I will probably read it again when I get involved in psycholinguistics again.
