Really great pamphlet on backpacking. It is stuffed with all the info you need for planning an overnight hiking trip. What you need to bring with you, the gear and the food, and important-to-know outdoors knowledge. It’s all here in a short pamphlet. It’s better than any guide I’ve found on the internet, that’s for sure.

It's every bit as exciting as I thought it would be. There is some good information here, however, and I think Scouts in particular will benefit if they plan on camping or backpacking in the backcountry.
